Mirage Dragon | Decks and Tips

Does this card Stop "Magician Navigation" from activating in the graveyard ?
Anoymous
"Magician Navigation" banishes itself from the graveyard to negate a spell/trap.

I don't think Mirage dragon can stop activations that are not on the field.

Although this monster's effect doesn't indicate the trap must be on the field, so will have to test that out.

Mirage Dragon only prevents Traps from being activated. It doesn't prevent the activation of Trap Effects. It won't prevent Navigation's negation. Nor will it stop the effect of something like Skull Lair or Des Counterblow.

Ok, I thought that Navigation banishing itself was a cost required to activate its second effect, which is to negate.

From what you just said, does it mean that only flipping a trap card on the field counts as an activation that can be stopped by Mirage dragon ?

Mirage Dragon stops the activation of Traps from anywhere, as long as it's a Trap being activated, NOT a Trap effect being activated.

Exactly what the guy above me said.
People need to distinguish "the activation of a CARD" and "the activation of a CARD'S EFFECT"

Ok, so what would be a definition of Trap being activated, and a definition of Trap effect being activated ?

Is it :
Trap activation = flipping a face-down trap (regardless of its location, hand/grave/field).
Trap effect activation = using the effect of a face-up trap (regardless location)
?

There is no skin in Duel Links. All costuems are default.
Lol, her dialogue isn’t the beat. Your losing scene sounds dumb.
