I like Red Eyes very much, but I have to agree with OP.

This SD seems like a repeat of that Silent Swordsman SD.

It looks strong, but actual still lacking.

Unless there are other good cards which is not yet leaked, then Red Eyes might hardly gonna make any comeback.

Isn't this what people said about Neos? Red-Eyes Fusion could help or Red-Eyes be viable and with xyz soon, Flare Metal will be added.
