The reason is speed. I removed your monsters for the Red Eyes Black Dragon. Wich has good support lately. I threw in Cards of the red stone in case you have a dead hand. Like 2 REBD, 2polys or a trap perhaps. Get rid of one, draw 2 cards. Thus increasing your odds of getting something good first turn. Same goes for the emblem. Get buster blader out asap. I threw in a fusion material as support.
You might need 2. Capping the monsters at 10. If you are not running good with that, you can add a sage or gate to fuse faster.

why nerdy how are the changes to this deck working for you? I'm running something very similar you your original build and i can't get past plat 2 the only difference is that i run 1 exploder drag instead of bandit tools. The one downside to adding the cards is that balance no longer guarantees you a first turn fusion so another skill might be better in its place.
