I for instance have managed to get 4 econs and 3 CV with less than 2k keys, but didn't get a single SR from Yugi in more than 30 duels on this last event.

Got my fourth Econ today by simply doing my usual 2k-3k points on Kaiba LV 40. Was hoping for a blue-eyes since thats the last card I need for my kaibaman deck

1 from KC Cup.
1 from reaching Platinum in the Qualifiers.
1 from reaching the Final Qualifiers.
There is no excuse anymore.
And your numbers don't match, are you telling me that you blew 5600 keys with only perfect 8 chests results and didn't get the card you want? Ok...

Um, excuse you? Not only does a small percentage of players actually make it that far in the broken/glitched/AND Hacked tournaments, not EVERYONE participates in them. for the last 3000+ keys I've been using the Labyrinth Builder. (w/ 2 DG) @Piroca I took another Dimension Gate JUST for farming Kaiba. Yes I could've selected 1 econ, but 2 DG makes the deck better. I don't do pvp. The only reason I did the championship was because they were handing out rewards. so I made it to plat 1. the decks were so 🔥ous I almost gave up at gold 5. (burn decks)

He is obviously not a new player, otherwise he wouldn't have 6000 keys to spend. Keeping this in mind, he was already in the game by the KC Cup tournament; so that's my specter of analysis.
Considering that obtaining the SR card in KC Cup was easy and every player felt like it and that reaching platinum in WCS wasn't the hardest thing in the world, I would say that you do should've at least 2 Econ

dude...chill... and @jj I feel bad for you man, just keep trying and I hope you get that E-con, had the same problem months ago too, i farmed Kaiba with a Kaibaman deck before Paradox event was a thing and he only kept giving Familiar Knight until i had like 20 of em. Anyway, I've only managed 1 EC & 2 CV from Kaiba so far, but that's mostly because I only go after him when the event is good enough to bare some Kaiba headaches.

It's pretty risky if you have 2 traps, you only have 3/20 cards which you must pull. Cat is easy reward, just lvl untill you have 2 and then start farming.

Nah man, it's possible. I wasted like 5k of blue keys to get Sage's Stone. And I only manage to get 1. Then miraculously I waited another month and spent 1.5k of keys and FINALLY got all 3. So I can believe one can waste so much keys and not get econ. Right now I currently have 2 econs and only 900 white keys left. I think 2 is good enough for me but I'm still going for a 3rd.
