My best guess (having also seen it just today) is that is the result of someone trying to disconnect you using mod apk... I reloaded a second time and got back to my duel with about 50 seconds left.
Thanks for answering. It also happened to me with someone starting with all their lifepoints, while I had none. And then, the same person dueled me again later, but instead pulled the trick right when I was about to Phoenix out all of his AG stuff. But the only way I was able to escape the glitch in the pic was to turn my phone off. It wouldn't let me surrender or close the app.
Well, im still not sure if these tilts happened because of accidental glitch or cheater. So im just sit and waiting my opponent to reconnect, or else if i restart the app, it could be im lost.
The Joeys with no cards weren't leaving anytime soon. Glitch or cheat, I had to get the heck out of there, so I restarted my phone since the surrender in the options wasn't even working, and there were no cards to to click on the deck to surrender. XD
Pvp is overrun with computer mod apk players who cheat. Konami won't answer any questions about what they are doing about it. When I have seen this, I immediately restart the game, and it reconnects to the duel, fast enough internet that there is still time left even after having restarted twice.
... continuing. I mailed Konami about cheating, recommended a checksum for dueling that could detect altered card stats and I think they implemented that. They have not found a solution to detect the disconnect and clock alterations tho.
