Not something I normally do but when I saw the Fire Kings & Phoenix come out at once, then learned the FK playstyle, I couldn't resist trying this FIRE themed deck out. The strategy is solid and highly destructive...but it feels like it missing something to keep pace with DLuel Links and, now that I looked them up, it's the other FK cards. Sure, maybe Garunix may be "OP" for DL atm, but the other cards seem like easy plugs. Maybe they'll come with those Fire Formation S/T cards next time, idk.
I originally had Kickfire & the 2 Hazy Flames but they were a bit slow (and Sphynx is glitched), took those out. Now it still feels like it's being held back by not enough power or something. Wanna get 1 more Phoenix & Goka and replace 1 FK Island & Fenghuang but still need some extra pulls for those. Any suggestions here?
....no idea what that last part is, but draw power? For Fire Attributes? NO SUCH THING EXISTS!!?! D: Basic draw cards don't really cut it for Fire decks.
There is such a thing, it's called "card of the soul", to pull phoenix from your deck if you have 4000 lp, or you can use "generation shift" to destroy one on the field to activate its effect and pull another one from the deck.
The focus IS Fire Attributes & as stated in the OP, I originally had the Hazy Flames in the deck before taking them out and Sphinx being glitched. That's why the ability is still Armoa, which is more is more useful than you'd think. O.o
Ah Yes, Card of Soul, the most random card I've never seen before in the TCG, or even heard of for that matter. XD Now GenShift could be a thing to get out copies sooner and that has Phoenix written all over it. Otherwise, the FKs are fine with their Field Spell. I like the idea tho, ty~

Btw, what is the purpose of this deck ?? Milling ur opp, beatdown, or backrow destroyer?? You should focus on 1 purpose to make this deck running consistent
Beatdown w/ Backrow clwar as you put it. The milling is a bonus of the destructive nature of the FKs & Nephtys. Easily searching for a FK or getting Goka on the field faster w/out major sacrifice. Warm Worm can be destroyed at anytime for it's effect so it's honestly the most flexible card in the entire deck.
Ok, dropped Kirin (poor flame unicorn) & 1 FK Island for my 2nd Phoenix (yesh~) and Card of Soul. Been running a bit more solid and how I envision, plus Card of Soul is just a weird one XD.
However, once I get the 3rd Goka, thinking about switching up the cards a bit and seeing how it'll do then. (Wild Tornado and some others.)
