Somehow special summon tetherwolf
Tetherwolf become lvl 7 with the token he summon
Normal summon the lvl 1 tuner
Use level augmentation on other tuner lvl 1 in your hand
Now your tuner is lvl 2
Synchro summon
The tuner summon a token when is used for a synchro
Tribute both tokens and discard 2 cards on your opponent hand
The effect of the tuner summoning token resolves after jaculuslan, u need uses 3 cards, 2 normal summons to discard 1 card opponent.

They'll never work well in Speed Duel format, since the archetype's gimmick is all about spawning lots of tokens. A small amount of monster zones does not benefit them at all.

When MPB were released, plenty of players managed to compete / reach KoG rank with it, it's a decent archetype. Some of its cards were useful even in an Obelisk kog deck. (Go figure) and it's due to the fact Duel Links is a completely different Yu-Gi-Oh! game.

In fact, MPB was dropped by players who played them faster than dropping a rock. It's because they realize the deck took too much effort to work with in speed duel environment.
Reaching KoG is very easy. With enough time investment, almost any deck can reach KoG. Reaching KoG with a certain deck does not mean that this deck is good.
