Even with LP Boost Alpha or without skill at all, current Harpies would still be a very strong deck, at least until new banlist limiting some of their cards. But still, I give higy regards to this deck because it is clean of Konami's marketing strategy that creates certain skill to boost the sales of certain box.
Komoney knew Cyber Dragon would still be strong and cheap without Cyber Style, that's why some of their cards got heavy nerfed. As expected from pachinko company.
Gimmick Puppet is so bad that the broken skill cannot even make the 1500 AT XYZ win.
I at least got my game mat :) by dueling to Legend 5 with that awe-full deck with broken skill.
Tbh,the current meta isn't rly bad and harpies despite being a tier 1 deck now are actually quite "healthy" since there are so many ways how you can counter them,where they basically have zero response.Id rather face harpies another year then lets say deal again with onomato or thunder 🔥 dragons.I would love to see six sam support or ban list rebalance
Harpies need to lose the skill to be healthy, they clear your backrow for free and if you chain something theay 100% have swallow nest. Without free HHG you just need to wait and shot to the big Harpie.
Possible nerf for Harpies would be a requirement to return one card from your hand to your deck in order to activate the skill. But this nerf would greatly reduce their power that Harpies players might no longer use this skill anymore.
Harpie user would just ignore the skill lol. In any case the HHG itself would be destroyed by itself if the opponent goes first. What you need is something to do with swallow nest so his changes of dodging the trap would decreased greatly along with consistency.
Konami will limit some of their cards for sure. They always do that to all cards that remain top tier even after the skill got nerfed. Real top tier cards don't care about skill, the only way to stop them is to limit or ban them. Best investment in this game if you realize the potential of those cards since the first day they got released, and you enjoy abusing them longer than everyone else.
