i think that you have to win 3 duels instead 1 but im not sure.

You have to have less life points at the start of the turn you WIN. So take damage, and basically OTK him.

when you do the finishing blow, make sure you have less LP than your opponent's LP.

You need to have less LP then your opponent and in your next turn beat him. For the comback to count.
