Forgive me if I'm wrong, maybe if any students of law see this they can correct me, but if Konami knows about this problem, doesn't warn anyone and doesn't fix this, and keeps everyone's money, that is a scam and anyone affected could be part of a class-action lawsuit, no?
You do bring up a good point Mik. They have no reason to scam people on virtually created and produced items IMO if you think about it. They make money off of basically nothing to begin with so I can't see a reason for them to do something like that. I think they just overlooked it. Which makes them look bad. The game is relatively new and they aren't evil. They just seem very ill prepared.
I add that this is just assumptions. Not trying to create conspiracy theories although it all seems strange. If anyone is familiar with Steam, my profile got hacked by someone in India a few years ago everything I had was gone. They instantly recovered my account after I gave them necessary info and made sure that my account was even more secure than it already was. Now that's customer support.
If I'm am correct about them overlooking this problem than it's not our fault that they got in over their heads when releasing the game in November. They should have enough employees to handle a crisis like this. Force people to link account to konami's website next update.
I agree that it's hopefully an oversight. I myself am having account issues after restoring my phone, luckily I hadn't made a purchase yet, though my lost time I invested is still something I'll never get back and that's still frustrating. I can't imagine the frustration you guys who sunk money into it. Hope ot gets resolved for everyone, cheers.
Thanks Mik, it has to be frustrating even if you didn't spend money. We put time into it. Nobody should have to do all that mindless grinding all over again. I'm pretty sure people wont either. I sure as won't start all over again. Cheers.
