How to beat/farm Kalin Kessler

Probably the best F2P deck, been polishing it for a couple of days now it is the final version, 40K easily without Turbo Duel or Items How to use: Thanks to balance you will have a level 3 tuner and 1 trap card to set for your first turn guaranteed. Set the trap card and pass the turn. Timing of activating the Trap card is usually when Kalin declares an attack (he won't bother to combo summon a powerful monster when you're field is not threatening). If you summon Swamp Mirrorer make sure you select 'Light' attribute (the default option) Now summon a tuner and synchro summon Vylon Sigma Use the effect of Vylon Cube to search an equip card It is the best to have Sigma equipped with Power of the Guadians before you declare an attack, and use its effect to equip Twin Sword of Flashing Light - Tryce. Important note - your final equip card will be for piercing battle damage, e.g. Big Bang Shot (using Sigma's effect again, thanks to Tryce) Do not summon any other monster (so that Kalin only summon monsters on defense position) That's it. You are protected from Kalin's Infernity Break. And the best part - You will enough LP to resist the Hundred Eyes Dragon direct LP attack (with banishing Archer) which is a huge pain on most decks.

Note: You can use any level 3 Light tuner, Vylon Cube is the only one with helpful effect.
Trust Guardian's effect shouldn't even activate once.

Vylon Stella's effect will clog your Spell/Trap zone so if you use it never activate the effect.

I'd been using a similar equip combo on Power Tool Dragon, but your Balance anti-bricking tech is better!

Ancient Fairy Dragon is also good EX filler. It's a level 7 LIGHT synchro monster and a Signer Dragon, which you _might_ get a chance to use if you get two equips plus Vylon Cube.

Yes Ancient Fairy Dragon is a great addition for lucky hands and the Quantum Cat is a nice upgrade as well.
If you happen to be extremely lucky to have Necrovalley it would probably be an incredible sidekick to this deck.
Array of Revealing Light to prevent fiend attacks or Luminous Spark are also nice deck variants for the fun diversity.

Though I really love my F2P robust build.

You should have summoned Mirrorer after he declares an attack to summon Sigma on your turn.

If he starts with a perfect hand and starts with General + Destroyer, nothing you can do except from using extra life boost. But in my experience that does not happens often.

Maybe having 8 trap monsters could let you have a better chance starting with 2 traps and higher chance to survive. OR if you start with power with guardians, equip it with your tuner. Though Archer might 🔥 you later on.

If you're using Balance, that means you're lacking in Signer dragons, which means you're doing sub-par damage at best. You NEED to be Pay-To-Play for this event, or you're just going to be worthless.

What's the Equip card between Swamp Thing and Power of the Guardians?
Also I know this is a F2P deck, but just wanting to tip that Counselor Lily (Luna's Lv 35 card) gives your Synchro +1000 Atk. Double that in Turbo Duels and that's a nice bruise.

I was using Six Sam x Hermos and Red Dragon Archfiend. Both decks COULD deal huge damage but are inconsistent. But you can't always deal massive damage before you draw all the right cards. Both decks could brick and Kalin could stall you if you don't do piercing damage.

While Sigma is all about consistency with good damage. It deals a reliable 60k damage per duel unless Kalin could OTK you, that would end quick and won't waste your time.
Great thing about Sigma is, he could search all the equip cards he needs within ONE TURN

"If he starts with a perfect hand", when does he not? He will always play at least one Launcher and even if you manage to do some damage he will activate his unbalanced skill and you're 🔥ed.

Perfect hand is not some summons and Launcher
Perfect hand is some sick combination of general + beetle + archer sometimes even hundred eyes with them on the field on turn 1

Vylon Delta (Atlas Rising) could be another occasionally utile EX. Its 2800 DEF blocks General's 2700 ATK, and the spell it gathers each end phase could be applied to a different synchro summon next turn.

on the rare occasion there's a Infernity General you can't over until Kalin plays more monsters. Only draws 1 equip spell during end phase, but better than taking a needless hit on Sigma.
