There is always a reason NOT to spend money. Spend nothing makes you lose nothing. Once you start being P2W it's very hard to stop, because sacrificing so many stuffs for your account would make you try so hard not to lose your account
Good advice, and I personally agree 100%. I have 7 or 8 different accounts, all centered around certain decks like Vampires, Six Sam, Metaphys, Triamid/Magnets, etc. With starting gems and possibly a few resets to get good SR/UR cards for a particular deck, it's easy to build anything cheap/free. Just link them to some email/konami account and you're set. (Can swap accounts to play what you want)
I think 2 Konami IDs are enough to enjoy being Duel Links exploiter. One ID is for your main account that you should keep forever, after reaching 10 times KOG just focus on farming and event instead of PVP. Then another ID is to exploit, create new account and overwrite the data in this ID each time Konami release new cheap tier 1 deck
About Konami ID, I think Konami purposefully picked the same name "Data Transfer" in both main menu and the in-game settings just to confuse people. They could name the one in main menu as "Load Data" and the one in settings option as "Save Data", but they don't do it because it would make people easier to exploit this game

Exactly, the only tier 1 deck that you can get with gems is Six Samurai. Desperado, Neos/Red Eyes Fusion, Cosmo Brain, Geartown, Spellbook are not for f2p.
I feel pity for someone who spent hundred dollars on main boxes only to be destroyed by people who only spent few bucks on EX Structure Deck. Well, except for youtubers since their income from youtube is much higher than what they've spent
This is true only for Desperado ex-deck and even in this case you also need Neos fusion for optimal build, so it's a lot more than just a few dollars.
For all other top decks, AG, Blue eyes you also need a lot of other expensive cards from the different boxes. Only about 7% out of 100% players use non optimal pure EX decks
