Yeah, Konami changed Aero Shark's effect for no real reason other than to make it fit Banfish deck....except Banfish still ends up not a popular deck anyway.
...wait, well, I mean, it is popular, but.....only as a meme. Partly due to how much Konami tried to make it a thing, but because the cards are too weak, it didn't become a thing.
Kinda like Dragunity now in OCG/TCG. Konami keeps throwing new supports for the deck hoping it will become tier 1 meta, but with the current OCG/TCG power level...who knows if those new supports will work or not.
