"Never bricks with Balance" Then that moment where you open the duel with Gwenhwyfar as your only monster among equips and the noble arms traps... Or even when you just open with any NK monster that isn't either medraut or merlin can be some major trouble. It doesn't happen a LOT, but if you think it can never brick with balance, clearly you have never played the deck.

-karakuri at least they can break with restart, but this NK, it's over bfr even the game start.
Well, you can also run Noble Knights Brothers. Either that, or it's start with just one monster and pray you can wait it out till you get more to do the combos. Becsuse you'd be surprised how often you can start with one monster with Balance even though your deck runs more overall monsters. I'm just saying it's not perfect, not that it doesn't work.
Here are also some other things that can help without medraut or merlin starting: Wait to activate the equip searcher when your opponent attacks. Add some canadia or floodgate to work with arf to pop your opponents monsters. Starting with borz can at least go through your deck quicker. Still, medraut and merlin are better to open with, though.
