To clarify some things yes, it is extremely annoying that most people from the far east have chosen our servers to play on... However, the complaining here is not justified. If you are heavily strugling I assume you are not very high in the rating... Trust me, if you are struggling at level 5/6 you have to understand that thats where people with your kind of decks are. The three mirror wall p2w super decks are not chilling in in level 5 lol.
I am personally a f2p player, currently in the top 200 of the N/S America tourney. At this point I am starting to get wrecked, but still aiming for the top 100 slot.
The biggest problem with this event is the server instability!!! Loosing a single game can be very costly especially if you were on a win streak. I constantly loose to some BS like time limit lose when its my opponent turn and I am just waiting for him to do something. Yesterday went from 7800 points to 6900 with nothing but disconnect not even kidding...
Deck wise it seems most commonly I face harpies, dinos, and those nasty Sergeant Electro meta decks... I play gravekeeper so dinos are like 80% winrate, harpies can be a b***tch because it seems like they never run out of OTC.
Ill be Honest, currently at 8200 DP and its hard. Every deck seems pretty strong. I started including Magic jammer for otc counter
One thing that reallly suprises me is how deadalus decks have become so obsolete. Maybe encountered 2 or the dueing the entire time... I guess all the karibos, windstorms, and E cons have made it very difficult to play...
I've been playing a relinquished/garandalf deck. It's doing pretty well against gravekeeper/dino/harpierelinquished. However, how to reach 14 000 dp like the top ladder ? It's disheartening to see such a huge gap.
I agree sith you 100% but honestly speaking it is a tournament that besides cards/skill/luck also requires ALOT of time... Personally, I def see it as possible to maybe be top 100, but I feel most lickely gunna finish in the 200-300 range. In the last days people are gunna grind hard and at the top level sometimes you play for an hour or 2 and drop in rank :(
