I think this is a good change. The Red Eyes and Cyber Angel decks were taking all the fun and cleverness out of the game. Predictable and mindless decks.
I play about 8 different decks at any given time, and whenever I run into a Red Eyes or Angel deck, I would just forfeit and move on to the next duel.
Well, in the last 2-3 weeks, all I saw at the higher tiers was REZ and CA. Most CA. Bleh. Even toons are more interesting. I've been at this for 6 months, and the last month was definitely the worst for boring repetitive decks.
Now the most annoying deck is Naturia. Another no-brain deck people should be embarrassed to play.
Phoenix is definitely beatable with non-meta decks.
Heh. Duel Links isn't exactly rocket science, but compared to the ones I mentioned? Any non red-eyes dragon deck, a warrior deck, a psychic deck, a mill deck, a mill/burn deck, a spellcaster deck, a gemini deck, a clown deck, a control deck, a no-hand deck...
Gemini is expensive? In what world Gemini is expensive? The power of the deck lies in Dioxogre (Bastion level 40 reward) and Darkstorm Dragon for backrow hate and NOT in Gearfried. Everything else (Supervise, Blazewing, etc.) Is a card trader. How the hell is that expensive?
