Limiting ur/sr from a box will make people who want to spend small amount of money in the game willing to buy cards again. The p2w players who spend lot of money will not be affected. They will by a strong deck benefit from that for 2 months ( or until the limiting list is updated) and then they spend money again.

F2P players are necessary for marketing purposes and for selling personal data to sales companies. Konami is making money from f2p players.

Don't forget that in TCG, you can trade individual cards. You can do something with those physical cards you have. In duel links, they are just dead. Your money completely goes to waste.

Yeah cards that you need to at least reset the box or pay money/lots of gems wont get hit because they support the game. That's why Spellbooks and Noble didnt get hit because their best cards are limited in the boxes they come from. If they limited spellbook of fates, then no one would want to use that deck anymore and money wasted

Noble and spellbook will still suffer because they're nerfing restart and balance skills that these decks heavily rely on

F2P players also support the game. Konami is making money for players that don't buy cards. None of the UR cards from the SA deck is in the limiting list but the deck is still bad. What about people who invested in sonic bird or saffira?

And you want to hit anki on top? That would destroy the deck.
It has already been weakened and fallen to tier 2 before nerfs.

Be happy there are people investing into the game to keep it alive.

Also the minibox decks and f2p decks are often great and were dominating lately over the large boxes.

The true nerf would have been anki in the semi limited list and not celestial. Opening a mini box 3 times isn't free to play friendly if the meta is shifting so fast. This game without the F2P players is a very small game. Even if you don't buy a single pack Konami is making profit from personal data management and advertisement. The numbers of this game are dropping dramatically.

With saving up gems you can open a mini box over 2 times. Nearly 2.5.

Add a couple small sr purchases of 2 euro or so and you can easily get a the needed 3x of mini box cards.

You cant nerf anki, which is ur from a large box, without some significant refund.

Also dhero anki wasnt even tier 1 in wcm and doesnt need nerfs when you can counter him easy with f.e. changing him into def position.

hey guys my opinion on nerfs/bans in general: konami should really avoid to limit sr ur from boxes because you pretty often you have to buy a whole box setup for only sr or ur cards you really want to have - that would just feel like a harsh waste - and sylvans seem pretty killed now but at least you can put in your 3 komushrooms if you got them and say to yourself anyway they are allowed or so

With such a fast meta changes you can't open a mini box 3 times. For example abyss encounters was a meta defining main box, then the sylvans box and right next the spell book box. You had to go all in for the first box and then you were out of the meta in 1,5 month. Buying packs without choosing the sr you gent is a joke, most of the times you will get the one you don't need.

Personally I had easy games with mask heroes with a geargia. But still mask heroes are an one monster- 3 spells deck. All the top ranked players used heroes as one of their main decks, you are totally out of the game.

F.e. swap to defence position cards and anti monster effect cards (negate +destro anki/stops drawing a mask). Also banish.

These work great vs masked heros AND can also be useful vs other meta decks.

So there is not a sacrafice.

People that play without those defences and get blown up shouldnt complain really.

baseless conclusions lol this underdawg.. who are you to say that the game is "very small" if not for f2p's participation? don't you know how popular the game is in japan? even so, the definition of "f2p" is relatively loose, an f2p can have bough 5 UR deals in the past and still contribute something to the game. if you want your opinions to be heard, support it with statistical data, for example.
