These guys make their entire deck about throwing random cards from their deck to the graveyard and then wonder what went wrong when they throw cards that they can only use in their hands and their entire field is just 1 monster?
More than anything, I want to know why it just suddenly became popular to play thunder dragons with Yubel's allure of darkness skill. Cuz I swear, that is usually what I see now for it.
Because Dragonroar and Dragondark activate vital effects when removed from play. I don't like it as Thunder Dragons have nothing to do with anything Yubel ever used.
I know what you mean, konami designed each character skills so poorly that they rarely support decently the cards they canonically use but work wonders with other unrelated cards, like some years/months ago:
Keith->thunder dragons
Arkana-> blue eyes
Tea-> gladiator beast
Ishizu-> dark magician
yugi/yusei-> six samurai
Jesse->crystrons, sm
Arkana->lightsworn
Mokuba->fur hire/spellbook
They put a lot of limits to these skills to focus them on character cards but still not enough it seems. And I can’t forgive how 🔥ing ridiculous it is that the Cyber Ryu skill nerfed prevents Cyber Laser Dragon from being summoned with the PCDs and Light Hex’s effect from being usable (before the second nerf they worked with Light Ruler and not those which was ridiculous).
The non defense was to stop stall burn, but other than that the limits put on the very CD cards are stupid af. That wouldn't be a good move but restricting using them for the advance summon of the OG Cyber Dragon being forbidden is also so dumb.
I always say this, Cyber Style should have been simply Zane's version of those "put this character's signature card from outside your deck into your deck/hand" skills.
