Why is no one using this card instead of Ultimate providence? Or in addition to it?

I thought that trigger effect could be activated during the damage step when the conditions are fulfilled.

For example if you use Legacy Clash against a Shien during damage step he can neate right? And Shine is only Spell Speed 2 whereas this trap is Spell speed 3.
Both cards are about negating

How come this card doesn't work on "Pumprincess The Princess of Ghosts"?? Her effect can activate during the Battle Phase as well

I explained the situation, correctly!

Pumprincess effect activates every time it is destroyed.

It has no limit on how many times it can activate.

The player needs to use a spell or trap which doesn't destroy Pumprincess.

does this work against Crowlers' monster that don't allow spell/trap activation during battle phase?

Ancient Gear monsters' effects are continuous, they don't activate during the battle phase.

How come this trap doesn’t trigger when you attack a face down sylvan shroom? It should since it’s the battle phase right? Shrooms effect activates no problem

Chivalry Not activating when Sphere Kuriboh effect is used...worked once and stopped working afterwards..anybody know why.... (and no, no monsters on the field that prohibits trap or spell cards from being activated)
