Zane event [Early Jan]

Zane Truesdale will be coming to Duel Links, and based on the announcement text, we will be seeing the Mid-Late GX version of Zane. Using his Cyberdark monsters along with his signature Cyber Dragon monsters.

1 Year Anniversary [Early Jan]

Many giveaways including Tickets, Gems, and Card Sleeves/Game Mats are coming!
You will be getting an incredible card as well!

Duel-A-Thon [Mid Jan]

Duel-A-Thon will be held again in Mid January. During the event period, you will earn points every duel, to fill your "Duel Meter". Gather points every day and get daily rewards, accumulate those points over the course of the event to get even bigger prizes.

Yugi Muto is Coming to the Gate [Mid Jan]

Starting Mid January players will be able to unlock the previously event exclusive Yugi Muto through his unlock missions, once unlocked he will also be available to duel at the gate.

Tag Duel Tournament [Late Jan]

Progress through the Tag Dueling Tournament and obtain Tag Coins for the lottery!
Choose from either Yami Yugi, Joey and Kaiba to be your Duel partner!

Improvement to Street Replays [Late Jan]

Improvements will be made to street replays. What will be changed however, has not been specifically stated.

February

[Early Feb] Super Chazz Princeton Coming to Duel Links

Based on the announcement it seems like Chazz Princeton will have an event as a roaming duelist, similar to the Super Joey event. In this event Chazz will be using a deck different from the one he uses at the gate, and will drop event exclusive rewards.

[Early Feb] KC Cup

A tournament that offers players to excel and prove their deck worthy of being on the top. KC Cup offers a huge variety of rewards from Legendary Duelists drops. Duel with Duelists from around the world and become the very best.

Uh, on second thought, maybe there is no pattern. Basically, my ultra-hot Yugioh guy list goes like this: Yami Yugi, Seto, Yami Bakura, Yami Marik, Marik, Joey, Chazz, Aster, Zane, Atticus, Jesse, and now Kalin. I want to have different decks for all of them eventually!

I think you'll find it's more often the newer players that gripe, actually. You don't continue to play a game you despise for well over a decade. ;p The game changes a lot year to year, let alone with each new era. Remember, La Jinn was a top-tier card at one point. ;p

Everyone here knows Komoney wont add the best synchro monsters. Maybe they add weak ones like Genex or Naturia (some of those were actually pretty good) Nothing like Brainiac

I hate this duel-A-thon crap. I get that they need to split the decent events up with filler but this is a waste of time, the cards are always rubbish

It's so repetitive though... this game is turning out to be just a huge grind and an astronomical money maker..theres hardly any thought that goes into the events..they are disgracing the Yu-Gi-Oh Manga and Anime in my opinion.

So let me get this straight: Esper's event happened slightly after Bonz's, but zombie boy is already unlockable and will come to the gate soon while Roba is just going to get another roaming event with rewards like Cyber Soldier and Omega Googles and no indication that his unlock event will come anytime soon? Someone at the development team must REALLY dislike Jinzo!

All my characters are lv 28 and all have a different theme deck, Based around their signiture card type. I was going to make another seperate deck for mai and jayden for amazoness and neo spacian. Mai has a harpie/amazon deck. But without amazon village and other suppot cards i’ll leave it for now. Neo spacians are cool but not amazing to use even with neo space.

I still have lots of archtype decks like gladiator beast, dark world etc that I can’t use yet and won’t be using for a while because the upcoming gx characters are already assigned to machine, beast, pyro, fiend etc

Well I don't spend a lot in this game so dark worlds, GB, etc are out of my league.. Most of my decks are fun deck and I assign them to chars based on their skill sets.

My Mai uses HHG, hazy deck, and Fire control (molten destruction + electro etc), total of 3 decks.

Amazoness is as you said, incomplete. And I let bastion use it with his earth skill.

An Event Exclusive Legendary Duelist is Coming to the Gate!
Both new players and players who missed out on unlocking the event exclusive Legendary Duelists before will now be able to challenge and unlock them at the Gate!

The next addition to the Gate will be Mokuba Kaiba.

In addition, more event exclusive Legendary Duelists will be added in the future.
Further details will be revealed in upcoming notifications.

Obtain a Legendary Duelist
A certain Legendary Duelist who appeared before will soon be unlocked.

The "happily ever after" one's probably Blair, who I do feel is fairly likely at some point. (Probably down the line, not in the near future, though.) That being said, I think the descriptions they made up were deliberately overly-cheesy. I don't think this was a serious prediction somehow.

I'd have expected Anniversary Art BEWD and/or DM, but this implies it's something new. I don't know if Slifer's likely. I feel like that's more likely to be an event reward down the line like Ra. (Either Battle City part 2, or a Yugi event.) Not sure what I expect it to actually be personally. Maybe something like Brain Control or Monster Reborn?

5d world is coming probably around march bit i believe its far to soon considering we could have anther 15 characters added easily from dm and gx i know not all characters will be added but some of the characters listed below could be.

Even so it would be nice to have a new type of summon for duel links, the gx world did not add that, we already had feusion and ritual summons
