Overview

Stage 1 of the KC Cup will start on April 5th. You'll start the event with the Duelist Level based on your final rank of the Ranked Duels season 26 (Feb 28 20:00 - Mar 31 21:00).

I'm legitimately curious and want to see how many duels people go through in order to get more than 10k points? I'm at around 60 duels and my score keeps going back and forth.

Depends on your win streak but usually it's 5 duels on a good day with a 5 win streak.

When do you think some of the cards on the KC tickets will appear elsewhere? I wasn't here when VWXYZ was originally distributed and I want it sometime, even if it's a bad card.

They tend to eventually add things to Ranked tickets. Also, most events get repeated eventually. (Though we still haven't gotten another Rampaging Rex one. That being said, all of the cards from that event are obtainable via Ranked tickets anyway IIRC, same with Mai and Joey's.)

Oh well, hopefully the cards that are exclusively on the KC cup UR tickes will become low-hanging fruit eventually. I can stand farming the rest off LDs and regular ranked UR tickets.

Not surprised as both have a means of popping Sylvan's set monster on turn 2. I almost did it with Genex but stalled at dlv16 before giving in to the dark forest.

Just learned the hard way that the duel match disconnect disrupts your win streak at DLv 19....:(

I had won 4 in a row at 19 using a simple Dark Magician Deck. The next match failed to match up properly (I got the (---) symbol. I then got a match up, but the "win to level up" did not appear in my next duel. I won my next two matches as well but I'm still at 19. Technically I have won 6 duels in a row.

Feeling a little deflated right now.

Being a f2p player, I'm very proud of myself for reaching stage 2 for the third time in a row despite of facing many KoG players using p2w decks. I only used one deck which got me directly from Dlv.5 to 20. Check out the deck in the comments below! It took me only 61 cumulative wins within 3 days to complete the first stage.

I used a similar deck but with only monster. Just went ham or went home. I also hit DLv 20 in under 65 wins.

Guys, there's like 6 teir one decks and 6 more tier two decks that can hang with them. No deck is their 0 atm and it's a health meta for card game standards. Half of the 12 or so good decks can be made on a f2p account. I was able to get DL20 in 6 hours of playing and I used Aromage and Flying Fish. Both cheep decks anyone can use.

You people just complain because A.) Your bad or B.) You don't want to play any of 12 decks to climb (which is fine, just don't cry when your Gishki deck can't get you to round two lol)

I prefer any other deck other than meta deck because meta deck is boring and repetitive.

Ive got like 4k gems in last week just by leveling up characters up to lvl 19. And now im at legend rank 2 for first time playing with a Sea Stealth Attack deck. I dunno why people spout hate so much... I guess this west world is really ill or something ... such sore losers my gosh...

You can even beat SSA even with tea's mighty burn deck.
Just need to control your opponent and scrap his deck. SSA only works if u plan to attack, if you burn him to death with masks burning land, gobling thief, curse of anubus, etaqua an worm scrapper, SSA player will surrender. Another option is using parasite infestation + LAVA GOLEM, that trap that doblues attack and a amazoness swordwoman.

Another cheap options is using a special summon deck like flying fish or six samurais + that quick effect card that destroys cards if u offer a monster, (it comes in servants of the kings pack). Wewww... tons of options.

The big problem is that if u win to ssa, you lose to sylvans. But that dykaed solved the problem using gravekeepers lol when almost nobody thought about that. Maybe because you need 3 not very popular UR (not now at least) cards. Rest of the deck was from card trader and lvling up the beatiful Ishizu *.*

TIP

I tried to use a cheap sylvan deck to get from DLV 18 to DLV 20,and I ended up taking multiple losses. So, I had to grind my way back up until I hit Dlv20. Glad to say that I made it, but I WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING IN STAGE 2. The b.s. in this tournament is real.

Lol. Unlike you i had failed to reached DLV20 with a lot of decks Hazy,Dinos,SSA,Aliens,Glad beasts and in the end i made a cheap version of sylvans and i just got a 5 win streak. They're ridiculously overpowered and while i was happy i was going up i just felt no fun in the duel at all. 🔥..
