During either player's Main Phase: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; during this Main Phase, Dinosaur-Type monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's activated effects. You can banish any number of Dinosaur-Type monsters from your Graveyard, including this card; Special Summon 1 Dinosaur-Type monster from your Deck with a Level equal to the total number of monsters banished to activate this effect, but destroy it during the End Phase. You can only use this effect of "Miscellaneousaurus" once per turn.

  • Can Special Summon a Dinosaur from your deck.

Cons

  • First effect can only be used if you keep Miscellaneousaurus in your hand.
  • Second effect requires lots of set up.

Tips

Dino Synergy

Miscellaneousaurus can banish Giant Rex which activates its self-revival effect. Banish four Dinosaur monsters to Special Summon Tyranno Infinity while also setting him up to be a huge beater. Miscellaneousaurus’ banishing also sets you up to Special Summon Overtex Qoatlus.

During this Main Phase, Dinosaur-Type monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's activated effects.

Does it mean it can negate a DNA surgery? Sorry if it's an obvious question but... I find "activated effects" to be a bit ambiguous. @.@

Activating DNA Surgery should be fine. It says "unaffected" not "negate" or "destroy".

Ur dino wont be affected in the MAIN PHASE, which mean DNA surg. kinda negated "exclusively" to your monster in the main phase. DNA surg. itself is not negated in the first place, since the owner monster still affected by this card. It is similar to elemental hero wildheart mechanic, where you can target and applied trap hole into him, but doesnt had any changes in the card condition.

dna surg has a continuous effect. Besides, the example is odd because if the effect was already in play none of the monsters on the field would be dino-type and they wouldn'r be protected by this effect.

So, summon Infinity Tyranno; then activate its immunity effect; then remove Dinos from GY to give Infinity a boost and bring a second monster; then swing for game.
