If you activate a Counter Trap Card, OR if you negate the activation of a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect (except during the Damage Step): You can banish 2 other Fairy monsters from your hand, field and/or GY; Special Summon this card from the GY (if it was there when you activated/negated) or hand (even if not). If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can add 1 "Parshath" card or 1 Counter Trap from your Deck to your hand.
Cannot be Special Summoned. Monsters cannot activate their effects, except Spirit monsters. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up this turn: Return this card to the hand.
When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated: Reveal 1 Counter Trap in your hand, then discard 1 card and pay 1000 LP; negate the activation, and if you do, shuffle that card into the Deck. Then, you can Special Summon 1 "Parshath" monster from your Deck or Extra Deck.
Last deck isn't a fairy deck. Him uses WoD because it's frustrated against deck like Sylvan. A fairy deck is really a valid deck, but against certain decks which abuse some cards can't counter nothing (infinite unleashed effect chain). Neither The first one example you see in this page is a right example of Fairy counter deck. You are forced to put OP cards inside this deck otherwise you can't win LoL.
I post the mine which I use in these days in KC Cup (hard to climb):
I’m not sure if i understand what your saying because your throwing random words all over the place in your sentences. But I think your saying that a Counter Fairy deck isn’t a Counter Fairy deck if WoD is used? Dude... it’s still a counter Fairy deck. A much better Counter Fairy deck than the one you posted. Which would explain your difficult time climbing lol
I must have terrible luck. Used this deck in PvP and it was nothing but trash for me. Hope other players have better luck than I did.
Yeah, the thing about this deck is that it is reactive, instead of active. You play passively, waiting for the right moment to counter your opponent's moves. So it kinda depends on your opponent's action, not to mention you need the Counter Traps to be ready when the opponent performs said action.
Doesn't really help that most big moves usually happen on turn 1. By the time you've actually got your traps active you're probably either already dead or your opponent has a strong enough broad they can just run you over without triggering any traps.
So, any update for this deck? Trying to build a new one with the new support
The problem of this deck is that it's difficult to balance between defense cards and counter cards. You need to run 4-6 counter cards while you also need 3-4 defense cards and you need those together. These fairies are weak, so they won't survive attacks without support. I lost many times because I drew too many either defense cards or counter cards.
true asf. the best build ive made is 11 faeries, 5 counters, 1 sanctuary, 3 WoD(don't hate) the biggest problem i find is that without a faerie on the field the counter traps are mostly dead cards so to stop the brick i only run a few
Agreed. Another problem I found is that it is difficult to overcome my opponents' big monsters because those fairies' stats are pathetic. You can only hope they activate something, but most of the time they know this and they will just bang you non-stop without activating anything.
Also, counter cards require lots of resources. Most of them require you to discard a card, and obviously, you cannot counter everything. With a 20-card deck, your resource will run out faster than that of your opponent.
you do realize the best players use this feature all the time right? hell i'm not even a good player and make my opponents think all the time that i have a WoD when in fact it's just an econ just by playing with the toggle..
This page need to be updated. I've facing 2 of this new CF deck 1 win and 1 lose due to power of the guardian
