Storm

Since it is a quick-play spell, you can activate it with Storm to be able to destroy a spell/trap card that your opponent owns.

Gravekeeper's Recruiter

#	Play
1	Tribute the Gravekeeper's Recruiter to activate one of the effects of Enemy Controller.
2	Now you take a control of a monster your opponent controls, and have a greavekeeper's monster to your hand from the deck for the Recruiter's effect.
3	Tribute the opponent's monster to summon Gravekeeper's Chief.
4	Special summon a Gravekeeper's monster from the graveyard for the Chief's effect.

Rulings

Soul Exchange can be used to tribute a monster your opponent controls to use the 2nd effect of Enemy Controller.

you can get econs fron cumulative ranked rewards now. One gate-LD SR of your choice at 30 wins, and another at 100. Gotta wait til end of the season to redeem them tho

Semi limit is what holds this card. Remove it and everyone will start using it again. One of the best cards in duel links.

Not deadly?
I watched the replay of one player’s match on reddit yesterday and he almost lost the game against Subterrors, then he used this card to take the opponent’s monster under his control and 🔥 him in one turn.

All tier 1 decks use this while they can.
And most nerfs were just so that they could not use it anymore (E-con in Vampire decks for example).

I hear ya man. It does get pretty annoying once you realise almost everyone runs this card. It's a overrated card that has shined for too long.

This card works best in decks that easily swarm the field.

It also good on turn 1, you can temporarily take the opponent’s monster to your side to prevent activation of various effects, then proceed to OTK.

If you think this card is overrated, you are using it incorrectly.

Well Windstorm can be countered via trap jammer, and the opponent may see windstorm coming because it's a placed trap. Kuriboh cannot be countered(as far as i know)

and the thing is that it takes forever to get gate keys for kaiba , like i have over 1000 gatekeys for every other duelist except kaiba , am i doing something wrong ?

If they want to make this game have diverse decks, that are not just cookie cutter edits and for them to actually use support cards. All they have to do is this.

UR restricted to 1 copy per deck
SR restricted to 2 copy per deck
R/N 3 copy as normal.

Then you can balance around shifting cards into U/S/R/N as needed. Which additionally, makes the game less P2W as people like to complain.

By doing that, you only need to buy out a box, once to have enough copies of a card to make a deck. This also shifts the balance of what is a good card if there are limits to how many in a deck, for both players.

This card is just so brokenly overpowered, it has no negative effects such as costing LP to use, and it's not limited or even semi-limited, which I find ridiculous. Other cards that are not overpowered, such as Pot of Greed, which only allows you to draw 2 cards is banned, because reasons. Drawing 2 cards doesn't guarantee you a win, at all, while either taking control of a monster, or just flipping them, does.

Honestly, how this card slipped past the banhammer baffles me

The reason why pot is ban is that it is a +1 and also a deck thinning card that allows you to go through your deck faster to get the cards you need. ECON is a -1 for first effect and -2 for second eff. If u want overpower then go player the TCG than where it is basically you are not allow to play if you do not run there cards.

It is a quick-play spell though, and you can use it if it gets targeted by a spell/trap card. Hey trunade! can only be used during a turn.

You either use enemy controler cleverly and snack duels you were gonna loose, or you use it bad and waste it. If it was unlimited pretty sure most decks would run 1 at least. Cydra decks before a year used 2 and were almost unstopable.

Forbidden Lance is a much better card in the current meta, you don't need this card. Some people are using this card just because it is free and they don't have other better card.

After you progress further in the game and obtain Lance/Karma/Floogate/Chain... you will surely forget this.
