I dueled a guy in Platinum he didn't use any special cards but yet Flare Neos was never returned back to the extra deck. Anyone have an idea how/why?

I bet they had Neos Space on the field (possibly from a skill) as it means they can choose to return it back to the deck or not. If they didn't it must be some other spell/trap that you didn't notice.

The only way I can think of is he had "Neo Space" on the field as it negates the return to the deck effect and makes it a choice rather then a must effect.

Some silver rank player used this on me and it has insane 4000+ ATK LOL and I was bricking so I lost lmao

Neos Fusion for a quick summon and then Miracle Contact to summon using the graveyard.
But make sure you got Neo Space to keep him on the field.
He reks shop with very heavy spell and trap heavy decks.

His special effect gives him 400 attack for every set card in the spell and trap zone on BOTH sides of the field, and that includes the field spell zone. Meaning this monster CAN get a grand total of extra 3200 ATK and DEF the moment he uis summoned. Now add into the fact of Neo Space and that's ANOTHER 500 and removes the return to deck effect he has.
Its a GOOD card.

Hell yeah, I was waiting for some neo-spacians and having flare neos and flare scarab is a nice start. Although I can't form a neos deck just yet until they bring out neo space
