This card's activation and effect cannot be negated. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Silent Swordsman" monster from your Deck to your hand.

  • You can still use your effects on that monster.
  • Searches your deck for another Silent Swordsman.

Tips

  • Very Powerful support card that is a must for any Silent Swordsman deck.
  • Set this card to be used during your opponent’s turn. You can use it when your opponent attacks to give your Silent Swordsman a boost. Or when your opponent activates an effect to make your Silent Swordsman Immune.

OTK

Use Secret Pass to the Treasures on Silent Swordsman LV3, and then use Silent Sword Slash plus other Boosts to get his attack to 4000. You now have a 4000 attack monster that can attack your opponent directly and is immune to any response your opponent might have. Unless your opponent has more than 4000 LP you will win the duel.

Yea it is but if you manage to pull it lol, this nerf is a bit much seriously, it’s not like we can search the card like masked hero’s can so it isn’t that overpowered and for the matter why isn’t masked change nerfed than....

So Konami are you going to explain this or not:

OTK

What you just described is the reason both of those cards are Semi-Limited.

You complained about this but I never seen anyone complain about blackwing otk or cyber dragon and if your going to limit 1 archetype you gotta limit them all to limited 2 SSS is the only card that useful in a silent swordsman deck

Doesn't chaining anti magic prism work against silent sword slash to destroy silent swords man lv3 since it resolves first bit doesn't negate it?

Chain something like canadia or a monster destruction card like tth and it still addects sss as sss needs silent swordsman to be on the field to be activated and this way they miss timing of sss

You need to chain something that can affect the silent swordsman like canadia,treacherous trap hole etc the moment they activate it, and it will cause them to miss timing

This card is ridiculously OP. Should have been made an UR in this box for sure. Can't be negated, and monster is immune to effects (ALL!) If you try to immediately hit their SS with any effect, they simply pop this card and it goes first in the chain....screwing you over every time.

idk but maybe you can stop this card with impenetrable (second effect) or hallowed life barrier since both card affect the player.
*note: keyword is "maybe", i never test it.

The silent swordsman cards form vertical rarity cycle. Lvl 3 at N, SSS at R, lvl 5 at SR, lvl 7 at UR.

when you open the yugioh app - go to data transfer, insert your duelist id. you should begood to go. you may have to register it on konami's site first
