You can discard 1 card; add from your Deck to your hand, 1 "Ancient Gear Golem" or 1 Spell/Trap that specifically lists the card "Ancient Gear Golem" in its text. You can only use this effect of "Ancient Gear Frame" once per turn. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. If this face-up card in its owner's control leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon up to 3 "Ancient Gear Golem" and/or "Ancient Gear Golem - Ultimate Pound" from your hand, ignoring their Summoning conditions.

I mean, I wouldn't use this as a swarmer. But he is definitely a quick UAGG for sure. Quick OTK if done right.

Ancient gear frame is bugged out for certain people apparently my buddy and I just duled works on his phone but not on mine. Someone should contact the game maker...

Well it's definitely not bugged, at least for me. AG is one of my regular deck against NPCs, so I know for sure.

In what way it doesn't work, though?

What's the details? Like, a replay would have helped so we know the condition in the duel that prevents you from using this card.

It didn't matter who I fought and where I
fought the card effect never activated except for the base stopping all. I would have ancient golem, ultimate pound, and toon golem and it still didn't activate. It doesn't even work if I have all three in the same deck. I can't discard anything to summon them. The special summon when the opponent destroys it doesn't work either.

You obviously didn't actually have Ancient Gear Golem or Spell Gear (the only two cards in Duel Links it can search) in your Deck.

The card works, I know for sure considering it's part of my AG deck for use against standard duelists.

Basically, it's a Frame.
More specifically, it's a Gear Frame.
Even more specifically, it's an Ancient Gear Frame.

It definitely works, considering my AG deck runs a copy of AGG and I often use its effect.

i'm trying to use its effect at the very point of its summon but it's not working. i'm sure i have ancient gear golem and acient geartown in my deck. how come?

Its geartown, not ancient geartown, so that field card isn’t an “ancient gear” card.
