  • Grants battle immunity to your face-up monster equipped, once per turn.
  • You take no battle damage from attacks involving the equipped monster.

Cons

  • Equip Trap card may potentially clog your field.
  • Equipped monster can still be destroyed by card effects.

Tips

  • This card can potentially replace cards like Impenetrable Attack and Hollow Life Barrier.
  • This card cannot be activated during Damage Step.

Synergy

Using Intrigue Shield on Cyber Barrier Dragon will allow it to maintain in Attack Position and use its effects to negate one of your opponent’s attacks. Spirit of the Breeze is able to increase your Life Points by 1000 every turn, while it is in Attack Position. Cyber Esper is able to look at your opponent’s card each time they draw, while it is in Attack Position. Jade Knight is able to grant trap immunity to all Machine-type monsters with 1200 or less ATK you control, while it is in Attack position.

With Holy Guard skill, Unhappy Girl have been used to lockdown Legendary Duelists at the Gate. Use Intrigue Shield with Unhappy Girl to do farming more consistently.

I don't see a real use in farm decks for this.
Holy Guard work on ALL your monsters, not only 1.(okay only at your turn)
Spirit Barrier give you the no damage to ALL monsters.
UG don't profit from the non-destruction effect, so even less use.
Don't forget, that 2+ attacks still 🔥 your monster equipped with it, as it only 'negates' one attack.
