All monsters on the field and in every Graveyard become Zombie-Type monsters. Neither player can Tribute Summon monsters, except Zombie-Type monsters.

Pros

  • Changes all monsters on the field and both players’ graveyard into zombie-type.
  • Limits tribute summons into zombie-type monsters only.

Cons

  • Limited edition card, can be hard to draw from deck.

Tips

  • You can use Zombie World with Il Blud combo to take control of your opponent’s monsters such as Sacred Phoenix of Nepthys or Cyber Angel Dakini, before their effect activates.
  • Since it works better in a Il Blud + Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon’s swarm deck, it is best to use Anti-magic arrows during your attack to prevent your monsters from being destroyed by opponent’s traps. You can also choose to use Impenetrable Attack to protect Il Blud because if Il Blud is destroyed, all the monsters Special Summoned by it are also destroyed as well.

With Zombie World on the field, Il Blud is able to Special Summon your opponent’s monsters from their Graveyard, and Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon is able to Special Summon any monster it destroyed from battle. This is a terrifying combo to take control of your opponent’s important monsters. Call of the Mummy is able to Special summon these 2 important monsters from your hand, if you do not control any other monsters on the field.

Scenario: Zombie World and Umi on Field.

Does all monsters turn into monsters (including enimies monsters) also, does Zombie World negate Umi's effect of 200+ ATK/DEF for Sea-Serpent, Fish, Thunder and Aqua?

No rule explains this on the internet, so far...

Zombie world overwrite monsters type, which mean UMI and such doesnt affect anything on field.

Zombie World also affect opponent's monsters. Since the opponent's monsters are Zombie, activating Umi would do nothing, as Umi just boost ATK, not change type, meaning the monsters would still be Zombies.

Doesn't matter who activates Zombie World and who activates Umi, or the order.

The end result is still Zombie World making Umi's effect pointless.

Well, when you use the spell card you have to tribute monsters toward the Ritual monster, so yes.

Uhh not a problem for vamps since they are zombies anyway so Zombie world literally doesn't effect them in any way

This is a zombie support card but in reality it is the ultimate burn support card. I can't freaking believe they actually had the nerve to release a third copy. I kept thinking no, they won't be so stupid... the same movie that happened with the third Lava Golem they also actually had the nerve to release. God why are they supporting so much a deck that makes people want to quit their own game...

.......there are other ways to get rid of Lava Golem besides using it for a Tribute Summon.

Also, this card only stops Tribute Summon. Tributing for Special Summon or Tributing for card's effect, are not affected.

If we can have 3 Necrovalleys, then 3 Zombie Worlds should be fine as well. But I highly doubt that Zombie World deck will become good.

Plenty of decent zombie synchros right now, so this will make them even more competitive and ruin certain other decks like neos or red eyes etc

My friend summoned Evil Hero Malicious Edge and then I placed down zombie world. I returned Evil Hero Malicious Edge to his hand, but then he tribute summoned it claiming "it had already been on the field so it was still a zombie type" Does this make sense???

No, it doesn't. Malicious Edge is not a Zombie in the hand, as this card only affects field and graveyard.

The moment Malicious Edge returns to hand, it is no longer a Zombie, so what your opponent did is an illegal move.

yay another zombie world so all the 6sam, neos,red eyes and all the other non zombie players can use it in their deck right ? ( stop forcing me to play zombies )

You can, this card only stops the Tribute Summon. However, you still cannot Fusion/Synchro/Xyz/Link Summon stuff that requires specific type as material, if they require anything not a Zombie.

Keep in mind that this card is used in "Zombie Yubel" decks. Not convenient however because there is currently only one of this card obtainable...:c
