Overview

Atticus Rhodes (JP: Fubuki Tenjoin) is the missing brother of Alexis Rhodes. He is a member of Obelisk Blue dormitory that suddenly disappeared along with others students. Atticus witnessed Yusuke Fujiwara (One of his close friends) trying to summon Nightshroud (An evil spirit) by using the Nightshroud Mask to obtain immortality. Yusuke gave the Nightshroud Mask to Atticus as a farewell gift. Atticus then got possessed by the mask. Eventually, he and Jaden dueled in a Shadow Game. Atticus lost the duel, then he got released from the control of Nightshroud.

Cards

Red-Eyes B. Dragon

Aticcus' deck revolves around his signature monster Red-Eyes B. Dragon. He uses Red-Eyes B. Chick along with Call of the Haunted and Troop dragon to easily summon it. It's also supported by Swing of Memories and Red-Eyes Wyvern to special summon it from the graveyard. By that time, he'll use it as a tribute to summon Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon that has a very high attack due to the dragon monsters on the graveyard. He also interrupts with his opponent's plan by destroying or disabling their spell and traps. He uses cards such as Mystical Space Typhoon and Mirage Dragon. Another strategy of Atticus is to use Inferno Fire Blast and Red-Eyes Burn to inflict devastating damage to his opponent.

Atticus with RE costume would be Nightshroud, not Atticus.

I personally prefer if he's just being himself.

Gx has a lot of trash characters, and the only ones that did something are not in the game.

Just Camulla and Yubel alone beated the 🔥 out of more than half of the GX characters and only one of them is in the game

"red eyes metal dragon, dragon nails, b skull dragon, re black dragon sword, lord of red". None if them are actual red-eyes support. They are generic and lord of the red cannot even be ritual summoned with a red eyes alone, its a lv 8

Even if you don't count REBMD, B Skull & REB Dragon Sword as RE support, they ARE related to the archetype.

Dragon Nails was never an actual card, no arguments on that.

Lord of the Red's ritual spell is Red-Eyes Transmigration. The ritual spell directly received support from RE cards and also it can use RE monster from grave for its ritual summon. Indirectly, Lord of the Red is related to RE.

Lord of the Red not being summonable with REBD alone actually makes sense if you consider it, lore-wise, as REBD merging with Joey. The additional 1 level comes from Joey.

It sadly will never see play even if we get Atticus at the start of GX world. REDD is just that bad.

They did it during the Super Joey event before more than a year. Back then red eyes were tier deck. Many people want red eyes to return in the tier list. Red eyes is still considered a f2p deck, since most of the key cards come from starter deck, event tickets and mini box. I just hope konami will keep this 'tradition' and don't release its support as ultras in a main box.

They probably wanted to make Atticus available in 2020, but then covid issue happens.

Basically the same reason why we still don't have full Japanese lines for Yugi DSOD to this day, the VA still haven't got the right time to do the recording.
