The Ultimate Rising

The Ultimate Rising is the first box in the game. With cards that can help both new and veteran players alike with its versatility.

Age of Discovery is the second box introduced in the game, also the first mini box in the game. It gives more water monsters along with the support cards that can make summoning Levia-Dragon - Daedalus to wipe the field easier.

Will cards come back to the game?

These packs will be available again on May 17th, announced officially through the in-game news announcement. This is to prepare players for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links World Champion, as well as helping the Korean players who never got access to the boxes because of their late launch.

Should Gems be spent for them?

Absolutely yes. The 1st expansion, the Ultimate Rising, has a lot of versatile cards represented by Sphere Kuriboh and Order to Charge. The second, Age of Discovery, contains cards necessary to Umi decks, such as Levia-Dragon - Daedalus and Unshaven Angler.

Speculations

The next booster to be rotated out will most likely be Neo-Impact, together with the mini box Flame of the Tyrant, or just by itself. Like The Ultimate Rising, it also has great cards in it such as Mirror Wall, Senju of the Thousand Hands, and many other useful SR cards.

Plan which packs to roll by knowing what cards to aim for. Check out the Reroll Tier List to get an idea.

Disclaimer: This is merely a prediction. The next box to be rotated is yet to be revealed officially.

Not the cards it's that they need to make the deck size the same as in official tournament 40-60 no less if they did that would give more a chance to use other cards that just don't get used because everybody is building 20 card decks!

But the 20 card limit really removes a lot of 'bad luck' drawing.

Also it lets you have a good deck without many UR/SR. Imagine all the new players drawing garbage cards instead of their 20 good ones

They won't be selling them, and they will be obtainable later, why are people 🔥ing that they can't use them anymore? In no place I see do they state that. In fact, they extended our time to collect them first so new players don't get left behind as badly.

I participated in National Tournaments for the first few years of Yu Gi Oh's release. I did not do well AT that level but I got there. I haven't purchased a booster pack in 15 years and I never will again. I play all the games as they come out and they ALSO limit and forbid cards constantly. You defeat an opponent in the game pull Cyber Jar and it grays out and won't let you add it to the deck.(5)

This is why you see people freaking out and complaining about forbidden and limited cards. We know what we are talking about and it isn't going to change. Personally I prefer Yu-Gi-Oh to MTG but it isn't better than Magic. There are only so many things you can do in Yu-Gi-Oh so you WILL run into infinite unbreakable patterns that require tweaking. But Konami doesn't always think things through (6)

When they release a card. As much as I love Yu-Gi-Oh and many anime fans do it's geared towards kids and it always will be. Cool abilities and pretty pictures. They don't look at what cards will run into crazy patterns that break the game until AFTER releasing them. They haven't since the game came out in 1998 why stop now? They WILL limit quite a few cards. The reasons it hasn't happened yetis(7)

is simple. I was upset about the forbidden limited thing from the start. I still played the game another 3 years before quitting it. 1998 was almost 20 years ago. 50+ videogames have released since then all have different rules all have F/L cards. New generation who doesn't know about the forbidden limited thing yet. Who have their first phones and think this looks like a cool card game. (8)

Cards are going to become rarer: Get em while you can! If you have a long vision playing this game, I consider it a worthwhile investment.Heck I don't make much and I still found a way to make it work.

need to bring back Maximillion Pegasus after Bakura event i just started playing this game so i missed his Toon World event and also missed the KC Cup event so i don't have a Relinquished i need a Relinquished keep losing to people with Relinquished Decks i rage quit many times

Yes thats the keyword. They wanna make "money" from us. I dislike their attitude towards this. They can bring in any excuses (cups,cater for players, anniversary..) to discont, re-release boxes whenever they like it. We are the suckers aren't we? :p

There is many new F2P players in this game, also the ones who pay, that just started the game now, so Konami gave them equal chances

My phone broke a month ago. I was two months into the game. Nothing transferred. So I dealt and started over. Trying for the whole month to get some of my decks back. Now I can't as most decks contained sphere kuriboh and shard oc greed. Why couldn't I finish going through my cycle and buy the 120 packs I had left. That would have been annoying, but acceptable. Now instead, I have no plans to ever play the game again until this is fixed. I didn't mind the grind to reobtain them, but with no hope of ever getting my decks back. I am done.

And my three other games all did. In the original game. No card was ever unobtainable. If the pack hadn't been out for years. I still had a way to get the cards. I love the game and would like to still play. Fix the transfer problem as I'm not the only one who had this problem, or let me trade cards before you get rid of some.

And the start up gem thing is a joke. It's like 15 packs. Might not even get you one good card.

This Bakura event is such a bad thing for those who do not have completed these boosters yet. They force you to buy Neo-Impact and Valkyrie's Rage to get Disappear and Ghoul to be able to score points on this event. I have opened over 40 of this new packages and only got 1 Disappear and i have yet to complete all cards from Age of Discovery.

For all the Newbs who are complaining about cards from Ultimate Rising. Why don't you stop moaning and make some other decks. The meta changes all the time. Enemy Controller is a farmable card and is much better than sphere Kuriboh. Mirror wall and Michizure are easy to counter,

Stop complaining and just use your brains, if your brain isn't good enough just make some other decks. Mai is easy to counter, just throw a few wild tornados in your deck and watch her blow her harpies up. Relinquished is also quite easy to counter.

oh, more complaining? the way to get enemy controller is to farm kaiba right? but farming kaiba lv40 requires cards like 4-starred ladybugs of doom and so on. but they are in ultimate 🔥ing rising. and speaking of ladybugs, i want you to teach that there are no alternatives to ladybugs. anyway, what i want to say is there is also a gap to farming LDs between people who have those cards and dont.

Enemy controller is top 5 cards in the game but 🔥in kuriboh you attack with a guy that took 4 cards to summon and basically have the game won then boom flip sideways and lose the game cuz your basically stuck top decking after that. The problem with kuriboh is there is basically no counters and there is no way to know if it's coming or not you just cross your fingers they don't have it.

They need to ban Mirror wall or raise the starting life points so players have a chance to survive the next turn. I can see everything wrong with the pvp meta considering there is no main phase two makes it worse. Certain skills need to be banned from PVP it makes it unfair and unskillful, I'm about to rightfully win and a skill activates on his turn so he can draw a card that suddenly gives my opponent advantage and they win cause of the skill other wise they would have lost.

The meta changes quickly and URs such as Mirror Wall fade into antiquity.
2022 meta will be so powerful that even 3 MIRROR FORCE's would be just a mediocre deck.

im 🔥in 🔥 at bandai. i started duel links a week ago with any no knowledge. i really enjoyed the game but as the time passes i wanted to make my first deck. so i researched informations but when i realized the the packs are not available i didnt understand what they did and still now.
the packs have been released for only 4 months and a lot of oldbies would not get enough cards not to mention newbies. i would not be 🔥 if valkyres rage pack is powerful as those two packs but it isnt. and jerks in here is saying a 🔥 like they announced month ago but hey we are freakin newbie dumbass. this will bring a polarization of quality of deck between newbie and oldbie. this is really serious one guys be conscious please :(
