how does his second effect work? Does it need to be solely crystal beasts in the GY to shuffle everything into the deck?
I am using grass is greener and caninetaur to fish out cards faster. Not great but works ok in KOG.

you can use the second effect during your next turn... it will shuffle all cards on field into the deck including itself...

The effect doesn’t work in legacy duel links when you tribute summon it for rainbow dragon... the secondary effect only is available when activating “”” Ultimate Crystal Magic””” which is sad, because the the card clearly says what it can do and doesn’t do it... smh!

Are you talking about Rainbow Overdragon?

That's a different card than Rainbow Dragon.

Tbh there are better options. Rainbow dragon is not good for pvp. At best you will probably get to bronze with a rainbow dragon. You are better off with a different deck.

it doesn't say on the page but you can now duel jesse for a chance at a drop

I have no clue how your supposed to use the second special ability on this thing. The text seems like it should be a defensive Black Rose Dragon ability; send everything on the field back to the hand. Yet everytime I try to use it, the second ability is not available and I end up losing because of it. Am I missing something or does the second ability just straight up not work?

easy way to summon rainbow dragon for pvp quests

- skill : meet my family ( adds 7 cards )
- 3 x sapphire pegas
- 1 amber
- 1 amethyst
- 1 topaz
- 1 carbuncle
- 1 emerald
- 1 cobalt
- 3 x grass is greener (obvious reasons)
- 3 x magical merchants (obvious reasons)
- 3 x flame tiger (for stalling when you have nothing)
- 3 x card trooper (for shuffling back cards)
- 3 x mahagandehgti (not the right name but spirit monster from card shop that lets you see your top card and place on bottom or leave as is on your next draw)
- 3 x dark mimic lv 1
- 3 x dark mimic lv 3
- 3 x monster reincarnation

the idea of the deck is to surrender if you don't have grass is greener/merchant + rainbowdrag in your hand at the start

all the cards listed are helpful for drawing/stalling. you can swap flame tigers for carrot champions but that requires adding plant cards (with the right tweaking, you can add slyvans into your deck with this one and create a BS rainbow dragon deck)

dont use rainbow dragons effect to clear the board because you wont be able to resummon it unless you use some sort of banish return card (lots of things to do that with; rec chaos zone if using such tactics)

Way way WAY too much work. My Cb deck runs doubles of each Cb with the exception of one copy of tortoise. 2 crystal raigeki 1 rainbow path 2 crystal release 1 rainbow gravity and 1 raindow path. Not a KoG deck but also doesnt rely on milling gimmicks or any or gimmicks for that matter. Just recycling your "spells" for game turning effects in your favor.

Running 2 Ruby with no way to Special Summon it sounds like an amazing idea... You should be running fewer monsters and a lot more Spells/Traps.

Also, the original post was a gimmick deck just to get the Summon Rainbow Dragon in PVP special mission done. Which isn't really necessary given Casual Duels exist and it's pretty easy to pull off there.

It is when your opponent has a full back row ready to screw you RD attack. Return all cards on the field into the deck. Play your CB from your hand. Free attack. If timed properly. Free win.

I activate my trap card
RAINBOW GRAVITY
With 7 or more CB on field and/or in your graveyard special summon one rainbow dragon from your hand or graveyard IGNORING ITS SUMMONING CONDITIONS. Seriously I run a standard Cb deck and have no issues getting RD on field and keeping it there. Idiot's normally blow thier defenses trying to get through my CBs before dragon even shows up.

Is there any issue with this card? I had one Sapphire Pegasus on the spell zone and one in the graveyard,two Amber Mammoths+Ruby Carbuncle+Emerald Tortoise in the graveyard and Cobalt Eagle+Topaz Tiger+Amethyst Cat on the field and still couldn't summon Rainbow Dragon, despite having it on my hand. Is there any possible explanation for this,except for a glitch in the game?

from what you have written, your board is full(cat, tiger and eagle). you just special rainbox, since you dont need to tribute things, you cant summon rainbow.

Rainbow Dragon doesn't remove anything on the field for its summon.

You need the CB on the field/graveyard, and that's it. You don't remove them.

So always make sure you have empty monster zone if you want to summon Rainbow Dragon.

Phoenix Fire

Some suggestion to build a stupid deck to summon this card for the missions event?

Keep in mind that you can just duel a Level 10 LD at the Gate for this, so an especially good deck isn't required. It's pretty easy to complete all the challenges in one duel as long as you run a card like Sound the Retreat to enable Summoning Rainbow Dragon multiple times.

TBH it's really easy. Transcendent Crystals ability, 3 Sapphire Pegasus, 1 of every other Crystal Beast, 3x Rare Value, 2-4 destruction cards (Parallel Twister/Crystal Raigeki), maybe a Rainbow Gravity.

Rainbow gravity does not count for the summoning mission, you have to summon it from your hand
