Ancient Gear monsters

Geartown only affects high-leveled Ancient Gear monsters by lessening the tributes required to summon them. Ancient Gear Beast and Ancient Gear Engineer can be summoned for no tribute.

Self Destruct

You can purposefully destroy your own Geartown to Special summon an Ancient Gear monster from your hand, deck, or graveyard.

I 🔥ing hate this card and deck. I run decks that arent meta and whenever ive ran into this deck it becomes and auto lose for me. Shiranuis and blue eyes were annoying but it didnt = auto lose. Get rid of this 🔥 card

A deck doesnt have to be meta to be a 🔥ing toxic piece of 🔥. This deck basically doesnt let alot of decks play because how stupid these cards are

Can Geartown summon Toon Ancient Gear Golem? It should be able to since it does not have the "cannot be special summoned" restriction unlike its normal counterpart.

Urg, cant believe i wasted 1k gens on this.
Seriously this miss-timing rule needs to be more "on the face" and not something printed on the back cover of some gigantic "specific rules" book!
And to top it off, i play on my main language, which means that the "miss-timing" text is different. (And not always the same!)

Aaaaaaarrrrrggg! If i only knew that i could break it if i made a chain! I would not have joined the meta side of the power creep!

For structure deck that cost 1k gems, you should buy Neos, DM, BEWD, REBD structure deck instead. They are more versatile. Also the old structure deck (if you are new player), it's better.

I feel the best way to nerf those Geartown Turbo decks is to change how Geartown itself works. Instead of allowing you to summon something huge out from anywhere when it gets junked, that mechanic should either be removed or only allow graveyard summons. That would nerf Turbo decks while not nerfing Geartown itself. Unfortunately, Konami is just gonna take the lazy way out and either Limit this or Reactor Dragon instead of text change.

Wild Tornado cannot destroy Geartown if activated. It can target the spell and trap zone only, not the Field Spell zone unless Wild Tornado is destroyed whil set.

wtf if this card destroyed special summon Ancient gear golem from your hand, deck or GY.

most players are looping it's effect to keep summoning bunch of monsters with 3000+ATK/DEF in 1 turn.

Because Golem specifically says CANNOT BE SPECIAL SUMMONED on the card. So unless the effect ignores summoning conditions (which Geartown does not) you cannot special summon it

Geartown :
-This card can easily be counterd by dust tornado or any other chainable cards, if you chain dust tornado to its initial activation or choose to set a spell/trap by dust tornado's 2nd effect even if you don't chain it to geartown's activation geartown will miss timing for its 2nd effect, dust tornado is a great card in many decks, especially in traps heavy decks.
-Ancient fairy dragon doesn't make this card miss timing unless you add a field spell to the deck.
-I don't know if you can summon a lv 5 or 6 AG monster without tributing if geartown is face up on the field but I don't think so.
-I think you can send ancient gear castle with 1 less token to the amount required to summon an AG monster from ur hand but I'm not sure tho.

"Anything that happens in a chain will happen anyways so even if the card is destroyed it will still allow you to summon a monster.This is why yubel can miss timing even though she has a "when" as her evolution summoning effect isnt part of the chain"

This is completely wrong, and I suggest you to look up the ruling of "miss the timing"

On the other hand, I think this deck is good but far, very far from tier 0 since most of power creep decks such as archfiends, buster blader and blue eyes tend to be bricky.
