Pros

Locks down up to 2 set spell/trap cards your opponent controls.
The cards are not destroyed so they still take up space.

Cons

The chosen trap can be activated as a chain to flip it up, partly negating this card's effect. Quick-play spells can be used as well.
If this card is destroyed, the set spell/trap can be used again.

Tips

Use this card before summoning monsters so your opponent can't use the commonly used cards like Windstorm of Etaqua, Enemy Controller or Order to Charge.

Recommended to use this right after your opponent sets down cards so that can't activate set traps right away.

....Yuya never used this card. In fact, this card never shows up in the anime.

So I just combo'd this with straight flush and after the targets were destroyed this card stayed in my trap zone...Doing nothing.

Unless the card says something like "If the card leaves the field, destroy this card", it's going to stay. Then you'll have a dead S/T zone that you'll need to clear with Twister or the like to use. Just like if you Tribute a monster Summoned by Powerful Rebirth.

this card is quite underrated; I've seen almost nobody play it, yet it consistently wins duels for me.

Totally agree. AMAZING card to play when the duel is lagging in such a way that you know the opponent has Mirror Wall (or less commonly Order to Charge/Windstorm of Etaqua) set. Also great in a pinch when going second and the opponent laid down a bunch of set cards.

There's another card named xing zhen hu replica. It only target 1 card but no card can be activated in response to it.

Both this & that card will remain on the field because it is a continuous trap.

The best way to use this card is against deck that play continuous spell and wait until they set the remaining backrow.

This card with Pegasus mind scan is really amazing. You basically know which card there laying down so you can cancel there plans.

This card is a bit underrated but it's actually gaining some popularity in these last days due to control decks and BB.

You need to be rather careful when using this trap.
The requirement is that you must select 2 set spell/trap cards. It doesn't specify only your opponent's.
So what can happen (if you're not careful) is that if you activate it when your opponent only sets 1, this trap card will force you to select one of your own set spell/trap, effectively locking yourself down as well. Locking down 2 of your opponent's set spell/trap can be rather tricky if your opponent uses them often, before you can wait for them to set 2.
