Skill Details

Your Duel Accessment score for using Glossy/Prismatic cards will be multiple 1.5.
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 2000. In the Draw Phase, instead of doing a normal draw, draw a random Prismatic or Glossy Card. This Skill can only be used once per Duel.

Unless you're focusing on Duel Assessments (which is meaningless in most non-farm duels), this skill is now going to be a worse Destiny Draw. It doesn't help that, in most farming duels, duelists would rather just use Restart or a dedicated skill to guarantee a more consistent farm, especially since most farm decks are designed to get an 8K+ assessment anyway.

Konami doesn't want Mokuba and Téa to be the top duelists, on the other hand Yugi is the protagonist.

I second that. Also yesterday's KC Cup was probably the first time Yugi became the most used char in big event, after years of Kaiba domination until Beatdown got nerfed

Wait can't you just fill your deck with non-glossy/prismatic cards then put in the foil variants for important cards or comeback cards (mask change, diamond core, etc)?

......you're way too late with that idea, that's how Koa'ki Meiru won the previous Kaiba Cup. The user apparently run 3 prismatic Diamond Core lol

At this point yep. Just an 1800 instead of 2000 lp destiny draw. Before tho, 1000 lp destiny draw. Extremely broken. The top 4 kaiba cup decks were all using it.

This skill is a joke. Compare it with destiny draw. Useless even for super whales.

I just got this skill not too long ago, and I figured it would be good to use as a searcher for Slifer since it is prismatic. But the problem is that some of the support cards I want to use in the deck are glossy, and for some reason, the game does not let you choose multiple copies of ONLY non-glossy/prismatic cards if you still have a shiny one, too. I have 4 Ra's disciples, but no matter what I do, the deck editor forces me to put the one glossy one in out of the three. I have tried everything I can think of to avoid this, including only choosing "basic non-foil" as an option. It's annoying, because it gives me less of a chance to draw Slifer if I put other glossy/prismatics in my deck.

There is no checkmark that I can see. "Basic" should have a circled 1 (①) in front of it. Also, you could have less than three basic copies.

I guess you must have done that wrong. I suppose by 'basic nonfoil' you mean the filter right? That only filters out cards you ONLY have in foil.

What you need to do is set priority of card addition. In PC it'll be under the skill. But in mobile won't be so obvious; you need to click any card 1st and setting will be at the bottom besides related card.

I don't know how I did it exactly, but once I found this and played around with it a bit, the glossy Ra's disciple is not one of the three in the deck anymore. None of them are shining now, and I am thankful for that.

There's a setting where you can change the load order so you can put non-glossy/prismatic cards first

I think it's cool that it might finally see some serious use. It's a very interesting skill, since if you build your deck a certain way, it's basically a Draw Sense for a very specific card.
