Cons

It can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon at it requires 5 Dragon-Type monsters which is very costly and hard to pull off.
Still susceptible to card effects despite of its summoning condition.

Tips

Dragon's Mirror

Since using Polymerization and 5 Dragon-type monsters can often be not worth it, you can use Dragon's Mirror to make it more viable. You can use any Dragon monsters and when they get sent to the graveyard, use them as the fusion materials for Five-Headed Dragon.

Needlebug Nest

Putting 5 Dragon-type monsters can be pretty slow, but you can make it run much faster by milling yourself with these cards. Magical Merchant can let you fusion summon into Five-Headed Dragon within the first few turns if you get lucky. The same with That Grass Looks Greener, but it can send the spell card to the graveyard. Cards of the Red Stone can be a good and safer approach since you can bring both Red-Eyes B. Dragon and Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon for a total of 6 Red-Eyes monsters.

You're actually going to need to do 5 dragons for this. In the irl version, this was only made with Dragon's Mirror or Future fusion...so gonna be interesting. Also note, you can't use fusion substitute monsters either...has to be 5 F'ing dragons.

actually you can. Almost sure that fusion substitute can be used. It work for Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer, so should worf for FHD. But you still need 4 other dragons, so not that easy anyway

It works for dragon destroyer because he asks for one specific(buster blader)+one unspecific(one dragon) materials.You can substitute bb,but you can't do so for the dragon.

When Fusion Summoning "Five-Headed Dragon", Fusion Material substitute monsters like "King of the Swamp" cannot be used as a Fusion Material unless the Fusion Material substitute monster is face-up on the field and its type is being changed to Dragon-Type by a card like "DNA Surgery".

because 5 head dragon is way more annoying to summon and if you're farming there is literally no difference between using blue eyes ultimate and 5 head dragon lol. this card is literally complete 🔥 in every single way, even if you say you love it so much, it's still going to be bad

Please, they're not the same at all. I can summon BEUD on the 2nd turn because its materials are both searchable and can be replaced with fusion subs. 5HD is an absolute nightmare to summon in comparison

They usually put a few meh cards in with the 10 URs so you have more disappointment packs, forcing you to buy more to get the good URs.

This card used to be really good in the tcg combined with future fusion. Mostly because it allowed you to get a bunch of dragons in your grave at once and then him after a couple turns. Could be viable in similar ways later in duel links life span.

Its called anime effects, which are vastly more op than the actual och/tcg effects. Like Neo BEUD being able to attack three times during the Battle Phase, which it can't do irl

He has no protection against spell card and trap card and monster effects. His protection is when he attacks or gets attacked. A useless protection, IMO, since the opponent has very low possibility of trying duke it out with this guy, moreover after they read it's description.

In case someone says something stupid about summoming this, you CANNOT use Fusion Subs to summon this thing. Fusion subs only work if the Fusion Monster states a specific card name. This card states "5 Dragon type Monsters" which means it can be any 5 dragons. You can fusion summon this using 3 Poki Draco and 2 Totem Dragons if need be.

try this "Warrior Tuner" warrior normal level 3 plus "Amulet of Ambition". it can 🔥 all level monsters provided no effects included just battle damage.

Except Tune Warrior isn't LIGHT, so all you'll accomplish there is inflicting 1100 Battle Damage.

Either way, you could easily just destroy Five-Headed Dragon with a card effect anyway. It's not like it's immune to things like Widespread Ruin or Super Rush.

It may look harder to summon but it isn't. You only need 5 dragons in hand and/or field and use a poly/fusion gate. For the gate guardian you actually need to tribute/special summon the guardian first, then have in hand the gate guardian. In a dragon deck you will always have dragons on the field and some in hand, so it really comes to drawing the polymerization card.

it's a 6 card combo that can't protect itself from common removal like SRH. your opponent literally has the option to 1 for 6 you. it's hard to summon and doesn't even do anything better than other boss monsters once you actually manage to summon it. this card is absolute dog 🔥
