I thought you could play this trap and simply bring out 3 fusion monsters just like that. It doesn't say I need the fusion materials to use the card.

Thought the same but it's not

Thanks, because this whole time I've been trying to special summon without anything

Looks like I fell for it to, literally just got done with a battle n was confused sense it wouldn't do anything.. But this explains a lot guess I got some re-orginizing my deck...

Even in the real life TCG print, the text is missing an "only", meaning yeah, this thing has confusing text.

Konami really should fix it.....

Que hace exactamente está carta?

Jabbernaut Reply
It's written *exactly* as a card that would actually summon monsters would be. If the card said "Each player can summon a monster from the extra deck each turn", there would be zero confusion that the card itself gave players the option to do so using just this card. You're saying by adding "a maximum of 3" it's suddenly clear it does not do this?
<< Anonymous(Jabbernaut)
Anonymous Reply
This card does not summon any monster, but rather, this card restrict how many special summon each player can do in a turn.

That's why the text is misleading without the "only" word in it.

The TCG print, and the in-game text should have been, as Gamea written above, "Each player can ONLY Special Summon up to 3 monsters from the Extra Deck per turn."

If ANYBODY..was actually ABLE to SPECIAL summon THREE monsters from the EXTRA deck..in a SINGLE TURN..this card would be the least of their worries. That alone is reason enough to think, that it summons. It would be OP..no actually broken since it'd make polymerization useless, but at least it would have some sort of visible effect. Nobody will ever use this card.
Daemon Blitzkrieg
You guys, the card description is not that hard to understand.

Once per turn, both players can ONLY Special Summon monsters from their Extra Deck up to 3 times.
Meaning no more than 3 monsters can be summoned from your Extra Deck at any time during a SINGLE turn.

The problem with this card is:
-- We only have 5 ED card slots.
-- There are only 3 monster slots.
-- We have no legit way to summon 3 monsters from your Extra Deck at the same time, at this time. 2 maybe, but not 3.
People are saying Life Cost 0/Cyber Stein is a way but no, not with only 3 slots. (Even if the opponent say OTC one of the summoned monsters, why not the Cyber and just end the ability all together?)

This card literally has no use in Duel Links yet, and when it eventually does, it still won't be/do much.

Sorry, I meant in ways that would've made sense in doing. ...then again, I've been using Wingbeat/Dragon a lot in this one deck for farming & that could be a good reason to pull a 3rd or more Special Summon from the Extra Deck.

Yes when the "only" is there it is not that hard to understand. But when you look at it in the app it says "Each player can Special Summon a maximum of 3 monsters from the Extra Deck each turn.". Without the only it seems less of a restriction and more of an action that you can take by activating this card.

Shouldn't this card restrict all types of special summons? As in you can't summon from grave or deck, only extra?
<< Anonymous
Pinzerprowhat Reply
Wrong it applies to main, side, and extra
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Only restricts special summons from extra deck. Which makes it a bad card. If it restricts special summons from hand and graveyard too to a maximum of 3, then it might be unto something.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
who's gonna summon from extra deck 3 times a turn anyway
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
This card particularly was designed for stopping/crippling pendulum summon.

Which is why it has no impact on the current meta.

The only deck that "possibly" affected by this card is Mayakashi. Even then, Mayakashi could already synchro climb up to level 7 if they start with level 1 non-tuner.

first time I notice all those extraterrestrials in the artwork wtf lol

Are you talking about the guards or the monsters? Other than the guards, all of them are Yugioh monsters lol.

Thousand-Eyes Restrict, Goyo Guardian, Elder Entity Norden, and No. 16 Ruler of Color - Shock Ruler.

This card was a reference to the latest banlist near this card's release, that has Thousand-Eyes Restrict released from Forbidden while all those other monsters are not.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
Oh, forgot to mention Performage Plushfire.

Also, the still banned monsters all represent different summoning method.

Fusion (Norden)
Synchro (Goyo Guardian)
Xyz (Shock Ruler)
Pendulum (Plushfire)

How the heck does this card work? If you activate this card, does it mean you have to Special summon exactly 3 monsters from extra deck in one turn, or it mean you can special summon extra deck monster up to 3 monster (1 or 2 or 3, doesn't matter) in one turn?

Can anyone explain to me please?
From the text explained above, as far as i understood, heck, you can summon multiple BEUD (if u have 3 of them) immediately.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
and what about this explanation above "... no deck can special summon more than 3 monsters from their extra deck in one turn"? well if you cannot summon more than 3, just summon 3 monsters only?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
or does this card limit summon other than special summon? so if this card activate, you can only special summon, not tribute/fusion/ritual?
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
No, this card merely limit special summoning from extra deck to 3 per turn. But it doesn't allow you to special summon anything by itself. It's a gate only. You/Your enemy must special summon by some way and it's limited to 3.
Anonymous
Now I understand how it work. At first, I thought this card ALLOW you to Special Summon Fusion monster WITHOUT Polymerization, up to 3 monsters (heck if this is the effect, it's TOO OP). BUT then, it simply LIMITS the special summon by itself. Yeah, this card is a LIMITER, guys! LIMITER!

Tho this card is useless cuz there are only 3 monster slots on the field, thus the LIMITER is useless because no deck can special summon more than 3 fusion monsters.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
HAHAH had the same thought. I considered the limiter interpretation but I was like "why the heck would konami release such a card then"

Turns out, they are as 🔥ed as I feared them to be.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
They probably hired some "p.h.d" guy to do the translation lol.
<< Anonymous
Anonymous Reply
No the translation is correct. This card was meant for the actual TCG, and why they brought it here I have no idea, because in Duel Links this card is useless.
Anonymous
Wow the card description is incredibly poor, I thought it meant I can just special summon fusion monsters from my extra deck w/out Poly or the fusion materials, up to 3 per turn. It would be helpful if there was more description as it leaves the door open for different interpretations.

The card is trash.

In all honestly, People might have explained the card horribly because they didn't want to put much effort into it.

The card itself isn't good enough to get effort in a decent explanation.

Realm Reply
The card limit the number of summon you can conduct per turn from extra deck. It barely worked irl since they have 15 cards in Extra Deck and some deck Special Summon from extra deck like crazy, even the whole 15 cards in 1 turn.
<< Anonymous(Realm)
Realm Reply
It only worked as Side Deck card, which we dont have and the new link mechanic irl limits the number of Extradevk summon already.
Anonymous
this card is a joke while you know that your field can only hold 3 monsters.
<< Anonymous
RTM Reply
But if you use Cyber Stein with the Skill of Tea "Life Cost 0", you can summon any quantity monsters of the extra deck that you want. So this card can limit to just 3 per turn
<< Anonymous(RTM)
Anonymous Reply
But you have 3 monster slot one is used for Cyber Stein. Will you summon beast and use Beast Rising again and again? Just 2 BEUDs usual end the game. There's no difference between much more attack.
<< Anonymous(RTM)
Anonymous Reply
Basically that deck summon only 2, not even 3. So limit to just 3 and just per turn is no benefit at all.
