A great card to have when your opponent has 3 backrows waiting for you but has no monsters. He thinks he is safe, but activate this card and kiss his 🔥 good bye.

Does AMA stop an already face up power of the guardians from activating? Say I play a monster with a higher attack and want to destroy it in battle without PotG going off.

Yes. Continuous spells/traps don't work the turn it's activated.

Can the opponent activate geartown's or fortress in the graveyard to summon reactor dragon while under the effect of AMA? Let's say I destroy it using D-Hero Celestial's effect.

Quite underrated card... Very useful especially since Shi-En can't negate it

So I had been battle with my friend who's using the AMA, is AMA bugged cause he's been using AMA to counter most of my face up spells and traps (sea stealth attack, aquarium lightning, Golden castle of stromberg, power of the guardians)etc. From my understanding face up spells n traps had gone through activation, and effects that happens during battle phase was definitely not an activation, hence they should be able to function even with AMA is activated

Some Spells and Traps have effect that activates in the Battle Phase, instead of right after the card itself is activated.

True, there's a difference between activating a Spell/Trap, and activating the effect of an already face-up Spell/Trap.

However, AMA is able to prevent both of those.

Most of people who dislike amazoness onslaught with all their heart should think the way you do.

Just grab any OTK deck and put 2 copies of this card in it. Easy way to deal with control/banish/swordsman based decks.
