The main play of the deck is to first summon mudragon, then back it up with water monsters (usually no. 37). Hence the Mudragon part.

Even though it's the only xyz, no. 37 gets summoned a lot (2nd most played extra deck monster I reckon), so I consider the deck to be an xyz deck as well, not only synchro. So I reckon it's more accurate to say Water encompassing both xyz and synchro.

Hello everyone, trying to get back into this game. I have a few decks available (Harpie, Gaia, and an unfinished Onomat). What's a good deck to start on, and what's a good replacement for Book of Moon because I missed it when it was out?

Use whichever deck you're closest to finishing. In the case of a replacement for Book of Moon, you can use cards like Canadia, Fiendish Chain or Forbidden Lance.

You don't need a serious archetype, you need only a Meta backrow (x15) and some random monster cards (x5).

Even with good backrow cards, it won't be enough to win duels in ranked if the monsters aren't good enough to survive.

You can take Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder and Number 22: Zombiestein to your Extra Deck. This will help you a lot.

I don't understand why Konami is protecting some decks. Every new anime deck skill has limitations, Demon's resonance limited extra deck to dragons, gimmick puppet to gimmick and number Xyz, shooting star has big limitation. Onomatoplay has no limitation, no life points loss required, and twice per Duel. The whole deck rely on it. Is it fair and balance?

Demon's resonance has another limitation, you can't activate the effect of the monster you searched. Why onomat should have gagaga sister guaranteed with a +1 in their first turn? And if they have dodododraw they can search for the monster to discard, in blue-eyes car of consonance is bricky, in Onomats your pot of greed is always alive. This is not fine.

No, e heroes are bad, the only e hero that sees competitive play is neos and just because it's needed for neos fusion, a very good card that then supports other decks

As you can see e heroes barely qualify as support for something else let alone be good by themselves

Sure. If we keep the backrow and we change the monster card (like if we put Cloudians insteak of Goukis) we have a Kog deck. (I mean, decc)
