Activate this card by Tributing 1 Level 2 or lower Plant-Type monster; Special Summon 1 Plant-Type monster from your hand or Deck whose Level is less than or equal to the Level the Tributed monster had on the field +3. When this card leaves the field, destroy that monster. When that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.

    Pros

    • Able to Special Summon Plant-type monsters from hand or Deck, that are less than or equal to the level of the Tributed Plant-type monster + 3.

    Cons

    • Requires Tributing 1 Plant-type monster that is level 2 or lower, to activate this card.
    • This card co-exists with the Special Summoned monster, if this card is removed from the field, so will the Special Summoned monster.

    Tips

    • This card can be easily countered by Cosmic Cyclone as this tech card has gained wide popularity due to the surge of Sea Stealth Attack deck users.
    • This card has yet to see much usage because there is a limit on the level of monsters that can be Special Summoned, which is not useful when you need to Summon higher level Plant-type monsters.

    This monster is the best choice to be Tributed because you can then use its effects by banishing it from your Graveyard, and Special Summon another Plant-type monster from your hand.

    These are the recommended Plant-type monsters to be Special Summoned from your Hand or Deck. If you are using Papa-corn, remember to include some Field Spells in your Deck.

    Meta Relevant

    Aromage Jasmine

    This card is released when plants are quite relevant in the meta. Komushroomo is arguably a key card in a Sylvan deck since it can excavate up to 5 cards, and since it's a level 2 plant type monster, it can be used Super Solar Nutrient to summon a level 5 or 4 Sylvan monster after you flip it face up. This way it won't leave him face up in attack position with only 100 attack. Several copies of Jasmine is also used in an Aromage deck along with Rose Lover. They have various effects that benefit from gaining LP and has Aromage Bergamot for a high attack plant monster with a piercing effect.

    Being able to turn a Rose Lover into a Level 4 of your choice seems worthwhile to me. Granted, there aren't a lot of Level 5 or lower Plants that need it right now, but still. Also, in a 20-card format, 3 of this and the card you want makes you very, VERY likely to open that monster.

    Is good to tribute rose lover and bring something like any sylvan (except hermitree) monster or aromage (except bergamot)

    dont think this card fit in Sylvan. would see this card be used more in Aromage I think. you can use this card to tribute both Rose lover and Aromage Jasmin

    I understand why people like to play this... But how is it better then, say, Dark World Dealings or Tribute to The Doomed?

    You get a free search and special summon on a level 4 or below monster. For aromage for instance, you can tribute your rose lover to search Jasmine and instantly put it on the field in face up defence.

    Consider this: the real strength of this card is not the monster it summons, but the fact that it gets Rose Lover to the Graveyard, where she wants to be.

    I'd say try to get at least 1 copy and try using it.

    I love how pro and cons gameA says exact same what the card texts says.

    Considering you probably tribute Rose Lover to summon other monster from your hand, even if your special summoned monster is destroyed it won't hurt that much.

    And if you use Rose Lover to summon Marina or Talaya it can put more pressure to the enemy or protect the summoned monster.
