If you had 4000 or more Life Points at the start of that turn, you Life Points will not fall below (work one time only). When this Skill is applied, you can only Special Summon 1 monster until the end of your next turn.
This Skill will only activate once per Duel.

Description (Until 2018 Jun 25)

The skill is activated randomly when your turn starts. Your Life Points does not get decreased to less than 1 until your opponent's next turn ends.

why didnt grit activate when fortune lady every attacks my stardust spark dragon and quintent hits for the first fall to 0life points leaving me with 1 but give me a loss? its my opponents first turn attacked with two 2k beaters into a stardust spark with grit that should not be game over...

Grit only works if you have 4000 LP at the beginning of the turn you get attacked. If you lost LP in a previous turn, it won´t activate.

u had 4k took 300 lp difference between every and spark dragon then 4500 from quintet from second attack meaning i dropped once shouldve left me at 1. either way i survive to otk with special summon judgment dragon and normal summon lumina/raiden. maybe my opp. disguised mod hack to make it look like it was a bug/error/disconnection so i reported

what i see is komoney couldnt get the middle line with grit between surive a turn without any penalties and you only survive once and u get a penalty.the middle line would be you survive once without any penalty.

This skill needs nerf. Not only is it not once per duel, but it only shows that it activates on the first turn so that we know what the opponents skill. When it happens again later we have no idea thats its activated! Broken enough on the first turn making otk decks strong but even if u somehow survive u cant make a comeback because this skill might SURPRISE you! Atleast be nerfect to be only at the start of the duel or even SHOW US EVERYTIME IT ACTIVATES!!! What is wrong with konami not doing anything about what is clearly the best skill in the game now. Its been meta relevant for long enough so atleast acknowledge it now and nerf it like you did with other skills before!

Since there is not even a time stamp on it anymore, I think they made that post a long time ago back before the skill change when grit really did work every time. I still remember how awful sylvan grit was.

useless sk ill.you cant make a counter attack next turn with max 1 special summon and u lose on the next turn.never ever won after activating this skill

Either there is a bug, or its garbage because I just did 10 duels and not once did it activate

You must have 4000 lp in order for this skill to be active, which mean if your opponent reduce your LP to 3900, and then reduce it to zero on any turn EXCEPT THAT TURN, the skill wont active unless you recover at very least 100 lp.

This skill is still usable, even tho this time it let your op know you had it. Most meta end it in one turn.

I have an interesting question, does this skill can preven ftk? i mean, the "you Life Points will not fall below 1 for one time only." apply with effect damage too?

Gem Knights are able to not 4000 at once but they're able to burn you to death in 1 turn

Ok in theory. But how many able to do that during first turn with 4 cards?

I for one never saw or heard it even once. Gem knight is good but they hard to hold their stand in current meta.

Gem knights dump and recycle from their graveyard and with genimi effects, a decent dump quite easily with 2 lazuli 1 brilliant and 2 master in your sidedeck

I would say balance since I've seen some bricks during first turns using other skills with this deck.
