Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 LIGHT and/or DARK monsters from your GY. When Summoned this way: You can activate this effect; apply the following effect, based on the Attribute(s) of the monsters banished for the Special Summon, also this card cannot attack for the rest of this turn.
● Only LIGHT: Special Summon 1 monster from your GY in Defense Position.
● Only DARK: Shuffle 1 random card from your opponent's hand into the Deck.
● Both LIGHT and DARK: Destroy up to 2 cards on the field.
You can only use this effect of "Chaos Dragon Levianeer" once per turn.

Pros

Self Special Summoning.
Can revive a monster.
Can remove a card from your opponent’s hand.
Can remove cards from the field.

Cons

Requires some graveyard setup.
Effect will depend on the monsters used as cost.

Tips

Can be a good boss monster for any deck primarily composed of LIGHT, DARK, or both attributes of monsters.

Lightsworn

The self milling in a Lightsworn deck can easily setup the cost for Chaos Dragon Levianeer’s summoning. Additionally, Lightsworn decks often mix in some Zombies and Twilightsworn monsters which are DARK attribute, giving you flexibility with levianeer’s effect.

Black Luster Soldier decks always have Chaos qualities to them. Most of their monsters are LIGHT or DARK and lots of their effects involve banishing. Beginning Knight and Evening Twilight Knight can be banished to search you Ritual Spell and Ritual monster respectively.

Eclipse Wyvern

A good searcher for Chaos Dragon decks. Use Eclipse Wyvern as cost for card effects to banish a Dragon from your deck, then banish Eclipse Wyvern to summon Chaos Dragon Levianeer while adding the banished Dragon to your hand.

A player named "freedom" reached KoG using that deck that bricks hard.
Also note that fredom doesn't use Melody

How does reaching KOG fix anything about bricking hard? You can reach KOG with literally any deck if you are no-life enough to grind. Meanwhile you can have half a brain cell and still reach KOG with Harpies

Brick doesn’t stop my deck from being good. My deck takes advantage of the GY.

I have 2 Stegocybers, 1 Bacon Saver and 2 Sphere Kuribohs to stall attacks. Chaos Betrayer for GY banishing, Special Summons (Same with Stegocyber) and extra deck summons.

A big weakness to my deck however is Necrovalley.

Oh yeah, I run Eclipse Wyvern for banishing Levi and, when my wyvern gets banished, adds said Levi to my hand.

When a deck bricks, have multiple options to win and add stall cards.

I have 3 Levis (2 normal artwork and 1 alternate artwork). Also, I’m fine with the limited 3 hit since it doesn’t affect my Lightsworn deck which uses said 3 Levis. However, it does limit some future revisions to my deck, but my build is as it is.

This sh!t shouldn't be legit. Opponent destroys two cards on your field with little or no cost (it is possible to fill the graveyard in just one turn) It doesnt target, you cannot negate it, if you have spent the trap, your opponent will choose the cards that remain on your table! And after that, they use the body to summon a special monster from their additional deck.

Check the azure eyes or the blue eyes deck page, I'm pretty sure some asked the same thing there

Just used this in a duel banished light and dark and when it was summoned its effect selection didn’t show up

It's no selection, it picks the effect based on the materials. So using lights and darks always gives you the last effect.

Yep, by the time you banished the light and dark you basically already made your "selection".
