  • Able to reduce the ATK and DEF the monster that destroyed it

Cons

  • Weak DEF stats susceptible to position switching plays.

Tips

  • This card’s effect of reducing ATK and DEF of the monster that destroyed it, is activated from the Graveyard, however monsters like Dark Ruler Ha Des and Blade Knight has effects that negates that monster’s effect after damage calculation, therefore Slate Warrior’s effects are negated.
  • This card is a good beater if you are able to flip summon it. Nevertheless it lacks synergy and utilities to fit into the current meta decks.

Actually yes, it is too late. Considering the meta is filled with stuff that doesn't care about it, either its atk or effect(GB, CA, and burn)

Mmmm name one haha. You could burn a card flipping him... for what? Most decks run speed/4-star/effect/beaters. Cutting 500 ATK means nothing now

its also a potential 2400 one-drop if you set it and protect it on your first turn. with the added effect of cutting attack. its definitely one of the best 1900 beaters out that doesn't require an archetype.

A pretty bad card for a UR. At least Rigorous Reaver makes them discard, the flip effect is essentially nothing on this one.
