Stage 31-40: Tips and FAQ

Tips

  • An easy way to clear some of the required missions is to build a working deck of around 15-17 cards and use the rest as filler for putting in spells, traps and/or ritual cards, this is so that you can use auto and still get a win and being able to use the copy deck feature so it can be easily copied to other characters.
  • Use cards like shard of greed to be able to get the required cards faster, or cards that can retrieve cards from the graveyard to re-use them in one duel.
  • Keep in mind that in the later stage, you will be required to unlock Ishizu and Odion. It is recommended to unlock them early by using a lot of trap cards and summoning a lot of Light monsters.

FAQ

Do I need to win the battles for them to count?

Missions like use spell/traps # of time(s) or tribute summons and ritual summons will still count even if you don’t win the duel.

How can I win # consecutive duel(s)?

If winning the duels consecutively is a struggle, you can use the keys that you obtained and duel against lvl 10 legendary duelists from the gate.

How to get a win against the Vagabond?

Occasionally the Vagabond will appear, bringing difficult requirement or challenge. In order to make it easier, you can ask a friend to set an easier challenge to send to you.

Note: You will need to add people to your friend list.

Currently stuck at mission 31 with summoning 2 rituals,I have the fortress whale oath and the spell card for it,but I need another ritual summoner.I also have the "exchange" card and the "contract with the Abyss" card aswell,my only question is,will summoning it from the bots (Miley/Nick/Etc) make it count as 2 ritual summons or just count it as the 1 I own in my deck,please help

Fight him at lvl 10 in the portal, bring a deck with tons of magic easy to use cards, like healing or damaging spells

Im stuck at Stage 36, because the Stage Mission says "Destroy 5 monsters in a Duel against Joey Wheeler", but i can´t complete the mission. I destroyed 5 monsters in a Battle, I destroyed 5 Monster with the Effect of the Pistol Dragon but it diddn´t work. Can anybody help please ?

Easy. Run 3-6 normal monster with 1100-1300 ATK and enjoy a slow duel.

ive been still at stage 36 for a while because it says i need to play as bandit keith and beat joey wheeler, ive tried everything to be able to play as bandit keith but his character wont unlock for me, anyone else have this issue? all of my other characters needed for stages have been available

How many legendary duels have you won? you have to win 50 to unlock him.

On stage 37, looking at the use 35 traps using Mai mission and groaning lol That's going to be a slowww grind

Make a deck with a few monsters and the rest traps, fight a lvl 10 gate duelist, keep one monster on field and just use traps every turn. Easy completion

I used the ritual monster 'Lycanthrope' and a lot of normal monster. Around 6-7 duels with LD Lv10.
Or a lot of spell-trap of Eff. Damage and a monster with more of 1300 DEF to stop the rival rush

i need deck to use on ishuzu to lvlup, im on stage 39

Please, can someone help me to reduce this deck to just 20 cards? I don't really know which of them needs to be benched. General purpose of the deck is to beat STANDARD DUELISTS lvl 39 (not the legendary ones at the gate), and perhaps, battling Vagabond because it's so tiresome changing my decks back and forth. Thanks!

I'm not in this stage yet, but i would remove the (gonna say row-column of the cards because i don't remember the names exactly) 2-1, 2-3, 2-5, 4-3, 5-2, then choose 4 to remove from the first row

It's better to use gravity axe, instead of black pendant because AI almost always twister its pendant when auto dueling, also my deck is similar, but I just use all 1700-1750 beaters with 3 high lvl monsters some equip spells and mirror wall, windstorm, golden apple, and trap jammer. It wins 90% of the time

I used Ritual 7 to get Mai level 30 and Power of the dark to get Yami Yugi level 30. I have two questions; what deck should I use to get to 40 (currently at 33) and what character should I train to level 30?

It's your score after the match that you get for winning/losing, activating 1+ trap or spells, conducting a tribute, ritual, fusion, or other soecial summon, etc.
