Ahh I remember the good old days when Yugioh first came out and I was just a kid playing the TCG.

I had Trap Hole, Monster Reborn, Dark Hole, Change of Heart etc.

Yami Bakura LV40 uses this card. He also used it on his first duel against Yugi in the anime.

Any card that negate flip effect. Sasuke samurai, paladin of white dragon, baou spell card, etc. Or equip grarl spell card to any monster to lock it, but u cannot ever attack it unless u use any of the above mentioned card.

If u run dragon deck, Lord of D. will protect ur dragons from any effects. Unless konami decided to include book of taiyou in the upcoming packs.

Cyber Gymnast is a bit slow and it needs a discard while this one is free 🔥 selection by just flipping it.

Because it's not a -1 and gives you basically protection against 2 monsters/attacks.

Sure you can play some nice discard combos with Tribute to the Doomed and it could help you against an Ojama King, but I'd also prefer Man-E-Bug.

Can't wait to see some tilt decks with multiple Man-Es, Exploder Dragons, D.D. Warriors and Yomi Ships...

Of course, that's why it's not released haha. The only case where Hane Hane would be better is if you combine it with Restructer Revolution. Other than that, pretty much superior to Hane Hane.

If released, it may be a character level up reward and limited to one. Otherwise, this card is in here because it will be utilized by the new legendary duelist on his/her deck.

No. The effect activates after damage step before being sent to the graveyard. Removing it from play is pointless. But Paladin of White Dragon can prevent the activation.

Old Vindictive Magician is almost the same card but is easier to obtain as it's only an R rarity as opposed to UR
