Can negate the effect of your opponent's monsters, disrupting their plan.
Destroys the monster that this card targets.
Requires a discard of 1 card to activate.
Against normal monsters like dino decks, this card can be a dead card.
It's recommended to not put more than 1 copy in a deck, since it relies on your opponent's monster activation, also since it requires you to discard a card from your hand and getting draws can be difficult. You can use it early in the duel to get an advantage by destroying the monster or save it until they start summoning monsters like Gravekeeper's Oracle or Levia-Dragon - Daedalus to destroy them and ensuring victory.
One of the best Countertraps in my opinion. Monster effects will always be a thing and the less strict requirement (being allowed to discard any card instead of a specific card type makes it more flexible than Ultimate Providence in this aspect).
Additionally the discard can be used with cards that have effects when being sent to the graveyard or from the graveyard itself.
It depend. Some of them considered as summoning condition, meanwhile some of them considered as eff. For example you cant use it on vice dragon. I believe you cant use it to prevent dark necrofear as it was the summoning condition, but her 2nd eff ( take control of ur monster ) can be chained by this card. You could use card such as Champion's Vigilance to prevent it to be summoned.
A card with so much potential in the future and a great asset for dark world! Its getting wasted on the small number of effect mosters of today!
Did you read his effect Malik?! He is effected just not when he summoned so if he is summoned with sphere mode he is destroyed if he destroys a monster with 1000 L.P he is destroyer so yes it does work. Keep in mind Obelisk is the only god card that isn't effected by spells and traps (mostly)
If they summon Dakini and use other cyber angels as a ritual summon tribute you cannot counter its effect with divine wrath... because then a chain of effects activates... and, for some 🔥ty reason, you can only counter the last effect in the chain
Won't become a good card because of the 'discard"? welcome to REBD world, where discarding + this card, complements perfectly. :) Gradually becoming the best card, especially against Phoenix decks too!
