This Skill can only be used if you begin the Duel with a Deck (excluding Extra Deck) that contains at least 10 "Gadget," "Silent Swordsman," or "Silent Magician", monsters. This Skill can only be used once per turn and thrice per Duel.

How to Play

Gigarays & Gandora the Dragon of Destruction

The Nuking effect of Gigarays will be more potent according to the numbers of "Gandora" monster with different names.

Thanks to the Skill you can fills up the graveyard by sending Gandora-X the Dragon of Demolition from the outside of your Deck. After that, you can add 1 Gandora the Dragon of Destruction from your Deck meanwhile you have Gigarays in your hand. Special Summon Gigarays by sending 2 monsters from your hand or field including 1 Gandora will makes Gigarays gains the banishing effect.

Be careful if your opponent has backrows on their field since "Gandora" Monsters doesn't have any backrow immunation effect which makes them can be disrupted very easily.

Gigarays Gandora the Dragon of Destruction
Gigarays Gandora the Dragon of Destruction
DARK Dragon ★8
ATK 0 / DEF 0
Energy of Gigarays [UR]
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by sending 2 other monsters from your hand and/or field to the GY. Gains 300 ATK for each banished card. Once per turn: You can pay half your LP; apply 1 of these effects, depending on the number of "Gandora" monsters with different names in your GY.

● 1: Destroy all other cards on the field.
● 2: Banish all other cards on the field.
● 3+: Banish all other cards on the field and in the GYs.
Gandora the Dragon of Destruction
Gandora the Dragon of Destruction
DARK Dragon ★8
ATK 0 / DEF 0
Yugi Muto [UR]
Ranked Rewards [UR]
Yugi Muto Starter Deck [UR]
Cannot be Special Summoned. You can pay half your LP; destroy as many cards on the field as possible (other than this card), and if you do, banish them. This card gains 300 ATK for each card destroyed this way. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Normal or Flip Summoned this turn: Send it to the Graveyard.

Infinitrack Anchor Drill

Infinitrack Anchor Drill
Infinitrack Anchor Drill
EARTH Machine ★4
ATK 1800 / DEF 500
Phantom of Rebellion [SR]
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 EARTH Machine monster from your hand in Defense Position, except "Infinitrack Anchor Drill". You can target 1 other Machine monster you control; the Levels of both that monster and this card become the combined original Levels of those 2 monsters, until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Infinitrack Anchor Drill" once per turn.

The starting card to this deck's plays because it has a special summoning effect to help make an Xyz. The other monsters are level 4 or lower, so you'll be able to use this with any monster you get. You can search this with Gear Gigant X or Ancient Gear Box.

With any other level 4, you can already make Gear Gigant X, Dark Rebellion, or Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon.

Heavy Forward
Heavy Forward
Continuous Spell
Phantom of Rebellion [SR]
When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Infinitrack" monster from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn: You can target 1 Machine Xyz Monster you control, then activate 1 of these effects;

● Change its battle position.
● Attach this card to it as material.

You can only activate 1 "Heavy Forward" per turn.

Mainly to help search for Drill so you can make some plays. The effect of being able to switch battle position is useful if your monster gets Floodgated.

If you already have Drill, searching for Harvester lets you Xyz into rank 6 Xyz, while Trolley Olley lets you become a rank 4 or 8.

Gadget Monsters

Gold and Silver pretty much have the same effect, while the colored ones are similar in a sense that they can search each other.

Gold and Silver are the starter cards since they can essentially be treated as a 1 card XYZ. Just keep in mind that they can only activate 1 of their effects per turn. If you think your opponent will destroy them during the turn you summon them, don't activate their first effect so you can float into another Silver/Gold.

Red, Green, and Yellow search each other out. Their main purpose is to replenish resources and be used for XYZ. They can be special summoned when Silver/Gold is destroyed.

Gold Gadget
Gold Gadget
LIGHT Machine ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 800
Selection Box Vol.04 [UR]
Pendulum Genesis [UR]
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 Machine-Type monster from your hand. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Gadget" monster from your Deck, except "Gold Gadget". You can only use 1 "Gold Gadget" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Silver Gadget
Silver Gadget
LIGHT Machine ★4
ATK 1500 / DEF 1000
Pendulum Genesis [SR]
Selection Box Vol.04 [SR] [SR]
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 Machine-Type monster from your hand. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Gadget" monster from your Deck, except "Silver Gadget". You can only use 1 "Silver Gadget" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Green Gadget
Green Gadget
EARTH Machine ★4
ATK 1400 / DEF 600
Dark Dimension [SR]
Selection Box Vol.04 [SR]
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Red Gadget" from your Deck to your hand.
Red Gadget

EARTH Machine ★4
ATK 1300 / DEF 1500
Dark Dimension [SR]
Selection Box Vol.04 [SR]
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Yellow Gadget" from your Deck to your hand.
Yellow Gadget

Dark Dimension [SR]
Selection Box Vol.04 [SR] [SR]
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Green Gadget" from your Deck to your hand.

Ancient Gears

Ancient Gear Wyvern
Ancient Gear Wyvern
EARTH Machine ★4
ATK 1700 / DEF 1200
Ancient Gear Awakening [R]
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Ancient Gear" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Ancient Gear Wyvern", also you cannot Set cards for the rest of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Ancient Gear Wyvern" once per turn. If this card attacks, monsters in your opponent's possession cannot activate their effects until the end of the Damage Step.

It has an effect to prevent your opponent's monster effects when Wyvern attacks, which can be situationally useful since you can use something like Book of Moon or Treacherous when Wyvern declares an attack and your opponent won't be able to respond with a monster effect.

Ancient Gear Box
Ancient Gear Box
EARTH Machine ★4
ATK 500 / DEF 2000
Vellian Crowler [SR]
If this card is added from the Deck or Graveyard to your hand, except by drawing it: You can add 1 EARTH Machine-Type monster with 500 ATK and/or DEF from your Deck to your hand, except "Ancient Gear Box". You can only use this effect of "Ancient Gear Box" once per turn.

Can be searched by using Gear Gigant's effect; Then, you can activate Box's effect to add Infinitrack Anchor Drill or Karakuri Strategist.

Block/Counter Attack

Kiteroid
Kiteroid
WIND Machine ★1
ATK 200 / DEF 400
Card Trader [SR]
Activate when you discard this card from your hand during damage calculation after a direct attack. Any Battle Damage you would receive from that direct attack becomes 0. Only once, if you remove this card from the game when it is in your Graveyard, any Battle Damage you would receive from a direct attack becomes 0.

This helps prevent some OTKs and manage some damage taken so you can use certain skills.

Ice Dragon's Prison

Ice Dragons Prison
Ice Dragons Prison
Normal Trap
Selection Box Vol.06 [UR]
Target 1 monster in your opponent's GY; Special Summon it to your field, but its effects are negated, then, you can banish 1 monster from both players' fields that have the same Type as each other. You can only activate 1 "Ice Dragon's Prison" per turn.

Ice Dragon's Prison can be a useful card in a Gandora Deck, as it allows you to Special Summon a monster from your opponent's graveyard to your side of the field and negate its effects. This can be particularly useful if your opponent has a strong monster in their graveyard that you can use to your advantage. Additionally, the card allows you to banish a monster from both players' fields that have the same Type as each other, which can be a useful way to clear the field of troublesome monsters.

Extra Deck

Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Heart of Xyz [UR]
3 Level 8 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material, except "Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon". (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn: You can target up to 2 Equip Cards equipped to this card; attach them to this card as Xyz Materials. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; destroy it.

Can be Xyz Summon using Cipher Dragon. Good for Face-up Card Destruction which is good for Monster Removal and Face-Up Backrow Removal for sometimes.

Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Phantom of Rebellion [UR]
2 Level 8 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; monsters you control cannot attack your opponent directly for the rest of this turn, except this card, also take control of the targeted monster until the End Phase, but while this effect is applied, it has its effects negated, its ATK becomes 3000, also its name becomes "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon".

A potential OTK card if your opponent controls 1 or 2 monsters. This almost works like Malevolent Sin since it lets you direct attack if your opponent only controls 1 monster.

Heavy Armored Train Ironwolf
Heavy Armored Train Ironwolf
EARTH Machine ★4
ATK 2200 / DEF 2200
The Unstoppable Love Train: Anna Unlock Event [UR]
2 Level 4 Machine-Type monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Machine-Type monster you control; this turn, it can attack your opponent directly, also other monsters cannot attack. If this card in your possession is destroyed by an opponent's card (by battle or card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: You can add 1 Level 4 Machine-Type monster from your Deck to your hand.

Heavy Armored Train Ironwolf can help to clear the way for a direct attack with a Machine-Type monster, which can be useful in certain situations. Its effect to add a Level 4 Machine-Type monster from the deck to the hand upon being destroyed by the opponent can also be helpful in maintaining card advantage.

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon
Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon
DARK Dragon ★4
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Phantom of Rebellion [UR]
2 Level 4 monsters
You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes half its current ATK, and if it does, this card gains that lost ATK.

General Rank 4 Xyz Monster for players to use so far. Its effect essentially lets you deal 2500 (its own ATK) damage if this attacks the monster you targeted. The advantage is that your opponent's monster's ATK is also lowered, allowing you to attack over it with your other weaker monsters.

Gear Gigant X
Gear Gigant X
EARTH Machine ★4
ATK 2300 / DEF 1500
Voltage of the Metal [UR]
2 Level 4 Machine-Type monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; add 1 Level 4 or lower Machine-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. When this card leaves the field: You can target 1 Level 3 or lower "Geargia" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.

Make this early so you can search for a Kiteroid, or any of the Gadget monsters especially Gold and Silver Gadget so you don't run out of resources for the next turn setup.

Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon
LIGHT Dragon ★9
ATK 3200 / DEF 2800
Heart of Xyz [SR]
3 Level 9 monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 8 "Galaxy-Eyes" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Cannot be used as an Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If this Xyz Summoned card is destroyed by your opponent's attack or card effect and sent to your Graveyard: You can target 1 "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon" in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.

Can be Xyz Summon using Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon. Unlike Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon with Face-Up Card Removal limitation, Cipher Blade can remove any 1 card on the field which is good for getting rid of some backrow that will disrupt your combo or Big Boss monsters with bigger ATK stats than any of your monsters.

Diamond Dire Wolf
Diamond Dire Wolf
EARTH Beast ★4
ATK 2000 / DEF 1200
Voltage of the Metal [SR]
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control and 1 other card on the field; destroy them.

Diamond Dire Wolf gets rid of itself along with any enemy card. Use this as on-demand removal against a problematic card, or secure your attacks by getting rid of enemy backrow.

Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison
Number 68: Sanaphond the Sky Prison
DARK Rock ★8
ATK 2100 / DEF 2700
Infinite Ray [R]
Fantastic Arc [R]
2 Level 8 monsters
Gains 100 ATK and DEF for each monster in the GYs. Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; until the end of your opponent's next turn, this card cannot be destroyed by card effects, also neither player can Special Summon monsters from the GYs.

Sanaphond is another powerful Rank-8 you can make. The Deck does a lot of discarding, so late game Sanaphond should easily reach 3000+ ATK. The detach effect is also very powerful, doubling as both protection and graveyard control.

Other Card Options

Deskbot Support

Using Deskbot 003 Effect to special summon 1 other Deskbot monster from your Deck for special summoning Gigarays Gandora. The Deskbot monster will also have some effect when they are been special summoned:

  • Deskbot 005: Destroy 1 of your opponent's Backrow.
  • Deskbot 002: search out 1 other Deskbot Monster and 500 ATK Boost effect for all Machine-Type Monsters.
Deskbot 005
Deskbot 005
EARTH Machine ★5
ATK 500 / DEF 500
Maximum Gustav [R]
Pendulum Effect
You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except "Deskbot" monsters. This effect cannot be negated.

Monster Effect
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it. This card gains 500 ATK for each face-up "Deskbot" monster in your Extra Deck. If this card in the Pendulum Zone is destroyed: You can target 1 "Deskbot" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. You can only use this effect of "Deskbot 005" once per turn.
Deskbot 002
Deskbot 002
EARTH Machine ★2
ATK 500 / DEF 500
Warriors Unite [N]
If this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Deskbot" card from your Deck to your hand. All Machine-Type monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF, except this card.
Deskbot 003
Deskbot 003
EARTH Machine ★3
ATK 500 / DEF 500
Warriors Unite [R]
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Deskbot" monster from your Deck, except "Deskbot 003". Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 "Deskbot" monster you control; it gains 500 ATK and DEF for each "Deskbot" card you currently control, until the end of this turn.

Other Infinitrack Monsters

Infinitrack Harvester
Infinitrack Harvester
EARTH Machine ★2
ATK 0 / DEF 2100
Phantom of Rebellion [SR]
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Infinitrack" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Infinitrack Harvester". You can target 1 other Machine monster you control; the Levels of both that monster and this card become the combined original Levels of those 2 monsters, until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Infinitrack Harvester" once per turn.

A searcher for the deck, but not reliable on its own due to low ATK. It needs to be special summoned from Anchor Drill's effect, Magical Hound, or Monster Reborn. With Harvester's effect, there aren't better cards to search for other than Drill to help set up for next turn again.

Infinitrack Trencher
Infinitrack Trencher
EARTH Machine ★5
ATK 500 / DEF 2400
Phantom of Rebellion [R]
You can Tribute 1 EARTH Machine monster; Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Level 5 or lower "Infinitrack" monster in your GY, except "Infinitrack Trencher"; Special Summon that monster in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Infinitrack Trencher" once per turn.

Revival for special summoning Anchor Drill from GY for another Xyz Summon Combo.

Karakuri Strategist mdl 248 "Nishipachi"

Karakuri Strategist mdl 248 "Nishipachi"
Karakuri Strategist mdl 248 "Nishipachi"
EARTH Machine ★3
ATK 500 / DEF 1600
Revolution Beginning [R]
This card must attack if able. When this face-up Attack Position card is selected as an attack target, change it to Defense Position. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, select 1 monster on the field and change its battle position.

Tuner that can be used to Synchro Summon Meteor Burst and Black Rose Dragon in this Deck.

Its ability to change the opponnent's battle position upon summoning can have some good utility. Aside from that, Nishipachi can also flip monsters that have been hit with Floodgate Trap Hole back up.

Wightprincess

Wightprincess
Wightprincess
DARK Zombie ★3
ATK 1600 / DEF 0
Energy of Gigarays [R]
This card’s name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Wightprince" from your Deck to the Graveyard. During either player's turn: You can send this card from your hand or field to the Graveyard; all monsters currently on the field lose ATK and DEF equal to their own Level/Rank x 300, until the end of this turn.

Can be used during either players' turn makes this card more useful to prevent OTK from your opponent by reducing their ATK regarding to their own Level/Rank. After that, you can Special Summon Levianeer by banishing this card and 1 Dark-Attribute Monster from your Graveyard.

Other Extra Decks

Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon
Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon
FIRE Dragon ★7
ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
Force of Infinity [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 card in your Pendulum Zone; Special Summon it, also this card cannot attack for the rest of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon" once per turn. Monsters in your opponent's possession cannot activate their effects during the Battle Phase.

Its effect is very powerful to ensure that your attacks won't get stopped by monster effects, which include handtraps like Kiteroid.

Black Rose Dragon
Black Rose Dragon
FIRE Dragon ★7
ATK 2400 / DEF 1800
Blazing Rose [UR]
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can destroy all cards on the field. Once per turn: You can banish 1 Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard, then target 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls; change that target to face-up Attack Position, and if you do, its ATK becomes 0 until the end of this turn.

Special Summon Black Rose Dragon to get rid of your opponent's entire field setup.

Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis
Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis
LIGHT Dragon ★8
ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
Infinite Ray [UR]
2 Level 8 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Tribute any number of monsters from your hand and/or your side of the field (minimum 1), then destroy an equal number of cards on the field.

Make Heliopolis using a combination of Gigarays Gandora Dragon and Chaos Dragon Levianeer as materials. With sufficient cost, Heliopolis can destroy everything on your opponent's board resulting in an easy OTK.

Need card to switch gandora into attack position after summoning, otherwise very vulnerable... doesn't exist yet not sure :/

You can use desert sunlight to flip him feom being set to face up defense position which wouldnt make him vulnerable to being destroyed at the end of the turn because he technically wasnt summoned nor flip summoned. Could also use cost down so he would be a one teibute monster and allow there to be one more monster on the flield so you could gain another 300 atk when you use his effect.

Sweet, I just got my second Gandora, got union attack, just need to get Valkryion and Gamma

Half shut, spell of absorbing light, and stray lambs work great for gandora. Once gandora is put into attack position you can summon stray lambs and activate the effect to destroy two cards for the price of one.

You could also use 3 7 spell cards to gain LP back and use Gandora in a badass farming deck.

Wow, and I just got my first Gandora a few minutes ago. Will this deck utilize Rex's Titan Showdown skill? Or will that be for another deck build?

Oh hey, this article got updated.

Love this deck i dont lose

I feel like gandora works best in a weevil deck only. But i feel like weevil does better w/o anyways.....
Evilfatkat
Can anyone give me the link to the deck build of Gandora that had 3 surpremecy berries, and the Pot of Benevolence? I can’t find it anywhere now and I honestly believe that deck is better then this one :/
Anonymous
Goddamn... 3 Gandora? This is kind of insane....
AZH
I'll be honest... the best way to describe this deck is like when you throw the monkey wrench into the already f**ked Meta. I LOVE ITTTTTTTTTTT
SirSalt
Quick FYI: You can activate Gandora's Effect as many times as you want. If you could get a large hand full of Spell/Trap cards, you could continue buffing Gandora for as many cards as you have in your hand. The downside though is the Health Cost, as always.

Get f ucked on Gandora. No more stalling with Kiteroid and no more The Melody of Awakening Dragon. Get your KoG before the ban list
