NOTES

The GameA Tier List is primarily based on King of Games decks submitted by users and performance in Tournament.

Tier list

Decks in Tier 1 and 2 are ones that are known to have achieved good success against other decks/players.

Meta decks

Meta decks are decks that are often commonly used by players in PvP. Meta decks will often change depending on newer cards or strategies, so we will keep updating this page often to keep everyone informed of newer decks.

Tier 0

Tier 0 decks are decks that completely dominate a meta and you either play the same deck or a deck that completely counters it (but loses to almost any other deck).

There are currently no Tier 0 decks

Tier 1

These decks are very well rounded. They have ways to deal with almost every deck and have very few weaknesses themselves.

I think Darklords arent that good. After they played The Sanctified Darklord, they are -2 and only negated my effect monster but didnt even destroy it. Most of the time I win because of card advantage. Only Darklord with
Sacred Arch-Airknight Parshath and Counter Traps wrecked me because of negating my play and summon Parshath for free who can pierce and search new Counters.

Steelswarm should be definetely in the Tier list. Their Treeborn Frog let them summon a monster every turn and clean your field for free. Their effects are hard to counter since they are chained upon summoning and are not-destruction removals.

Agreed, darklords are average - i tried them, didnt move up the ladder much, bit the komoney bullet, went w steelswarm neos and hit kog in 2 days from plat 1, and beat every 6sam player i encountered. Blue eyes is also clearly somewhere at the top, either 1 or 2, although I don't actually play them so its hard to tell.

Maybe it’s time for Yubel Nephtys to get back to be tiered? It’s really good now vs Neos, Blue-Eyes and Six Sam

The only ever use one spell for rituals. Also boucing incarnate gives an ultimate night mate and using my name is Yubel afterwards to reset incarnate. They can only prevent terror incarnate from coming out and can’t stop it reliably.

Stopping the ritual spell, even just once, already mess up the deck. And yeah, they can't really deal with the Yubels.

So again, to the OP, how it is even good vs SixSam?

Yubel is terrible if you know anything about timing - most neos decks have some reliable remove as well, e.g. lswarm having girstag hitting yubel without the effect trigger, normal having sazank, trech etc. 6sams claps yubel if you chain enishi to yubel effect, darklords (which arent actually tier 2, surely thats a mistake) easily negate and otk yubel. In any real competitive sense yubel is meh

Konami really screwed it up, any other box they release OP/OTK decks, this Neos 🔥 is so freakn boring and everybody just put it in any random deck, they should also stop bringing out these 🔥ty GX structure crap decks for all these p2w guys, I'm out ...

I reached KOG some hours ago with DARKLORDS, I've been reading it wasn't that strong but I think it's pretty much OK in terms of effectiveness in the current meta.

I love how Duel Links has a meta similar in some ways to the Tcg (Like 6sam being frickin cool) and so crazy with things like Ancient Gear, Amazoness, Koa'ki Meiru and Neos as some of the strongest decks

That's why I said it was only in some ways, if it was totally similar Gladiator Beasts would've been almost Tier 0
Also Judgment Dragon would be broken here

I think yes, kids are already able to find tons of that stuff and since they have their own urges starting 11 I don't think we should hinder their needs. Besides it's them posting those pictures, because adults have no reason to and don't find it funny. By disabling pictures we would be unable to post screenshots of our deck, and THAT would be the real unacceptable issue on this site.

Yeah, I think they probably wrongly sorted Darklords to Tier 2 and and Cosmo BEWD to high potential.

It seems like supposed to be the other way around.

DLM does it from a tournament standpoint and GameA does it from a normal player standpoint. Yet darklords aren’t meta at all.

Just because you happen to not encounter it much, doesn't mean it wasn't meta.

Plenty other players play and encounter Darklord decks.

In ladder settings, it should still be tiered, maybe tier 3. And Six Sam is tier 1, despite being tier 3 in DLM. This is not Duel Links Meta tour.
