Select 1 face-up card in the Spell & Trap Card Zones and destroy it. The controller of the destroyed card can then Set 1 Spell or Trap Card from their hand. If this Set card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, select and destroy 1 face-up card on the field.

Pros

Destroys face up spell/trap cards.
If it's destroyed when it is set, it can destroy any face up spell/trap/field-spell/monster on the field.

Cons

Targeted spell/trap cards must be face-up.
Opponent can set a spell/trap card which can be activated immediately if it's a quick-play spell.

Tips, related cards, skills

You can use cards like Magical Hats or Storm to destroy it when it's face down so you can destroy a card.

This card can also be used to destroy opponent's Mirror Wall when they used it on their turn.

I still dont know how it works i got two of it i only use it to destroy traps/spells but for the second part i have no idea how it works

Maybe because Wild Tornado destroys Soul Exchange before you can select a target? Technically not a negate.

I just used Soul Exchange, and another player used Wild Tornado when I played it...I was unable to use the effect at all. I thought Wild Tornado didn't negate. Could someone explain why this happened??? (Yugioh Duel Links)

Well...I used soul exchange and someone used wild tornado and I still was able to tribute summon, so I don't know what happened to you.

Used it against a bot when they used polymerisation however the bot succeeded in using the card? I dont get how it works !
Had times when they used spell cards to ritual summon monsters as well but the effect of wild tornado still didn't cancel the effect of the spell card...?

It's NOT a counter TRAP you dip🔥. ie an effect that counters the activation of.. etc etc.

This is common among new players I suppose. Yet people tends to 🔥 rather than helping.

will the first part of this card effect work to counter relinquished? doesn't specify that the card in the spell and trap zone has to be a spell or trap to destroy it

Not the best card to counter, but sure, it will help in killing Relinquished.

The first effect works like twister, it can destroy face-up spell/trap, but it won't negate the activation.

Card equipped to relinquished is treated as Spell Card thus can be destroyed by any Spell destroyer.

It should not, the description says "spell/trap zone" which is the 3 spaces you got, the other one is field spell zone where wild tornado cant access

it could destroy the field spell card if say it was targeted by Storm or Harpies because of it's second effect

It won't 🔥 field spells though, which is less useful against harpies and dinos.

Daedalus destroyed all cards on field. When wild tornado is destroyed while set on the field (AKA when Daedalus destroys it) it goes to the graveyard. Once in the graveyard it's second effect activates. (Select and destroy one face-up card on the field) The only faceup card on the field at this point can be Daedalus. Daedalus is destroyed. I've beaten Daedalus decks this way many times.

Noone plays maku anymore because he sucks. He was only good at the start because noone had great cards
