  • Special Summons a monster from the deck.

Cons

  • Can only Special Summon monsters in attack position.

Tips

  • Can Special Summon another copy of itself for stalling and deck thinning.
  • Is one of the most generic searchers in a DARK deck.
  • Being able to pull Tuners and varying levels of monsters from your deck makes this card good for setting up Synchro Summons.
  • Some examples of DARK archetypes are Blackwing, Infernity, Dark World, and Wight. Some more are discussed below.

Yubel

Yubel

You can Special Summon the base form Yubel with Mystic Tomato’s effect because of its non-existent attack stat. Then use another effect to destroy Yubel and get its other forms out.

Gravekeeper

All Gravekeeper monsters are DARK and most of them have 1500 or lower attack which perfectly fits Mystic Tomato’s requirement. With Necrovalley on the field, you can easily be swarming the field with 2000 attack monsters.

Vampire Familiar and Vampire Retrainer are the combo starters of any Vampire deck. Mystic Tomato can search them out and trigger their effects because of the Special Summoning.

Masked

This series of strangely related monsters have no formal support, making Masked Beast Des Gardius difficult to summon. Generic support like Mystic Tomato can help you search Grand Tiki Elder or Melchid the Four-Face Beast and keep your field presence up to summon Masked Beast Des Gardius.

Yeah, I don't know why people are so hyped about this when it only summons the vanilla yubel and not terror incarnate.

You have an ingame list. Just use the filters for DARK, Normal+Effect monsters and sort them by ATK

Well, you can use Dark archetype or Mystical tomato to summon Yubel or Eathbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca (with a field skill).

Cannot use Wiraqocha Rasca's ATK gain effect though, since it needs a Normal Summon, not a Special Summon.

Meaning you're stuck with 100 ATK Rasca, unless you use other ATK boosters.

I don't know if its a joke or not but mystic tomato only summons first form yubel and she dies if you don't have tribute fodder this strategy is painfully slower then the regular yubel strategy we have rn so are you people hyped about playing a more 🔥ty version of a yubel deck or what I don't get it?

You can use limit reverse to summon yubel back and change her to defense and she'll be destroyed and you can summon terror incarnate. Do you remember how NPC use this card?

Mystic Tomato is a terrible tech for a Yubel deck. Fire Island Nephthys is the best way to run Yubel, and this demonic produce won't change that.

Defender of Nephthys is much better for Yubel deck than Mystic Tomato. Limit Reverse combo is too slow, not to mention many players in Legend rank would Cosmic Cyclone your backrow before attacking your Tomato
